Fifth Harmony may be on a hiatus, but its members are firing from all cylinders with their solo projects – and next up is Lauren Jauregui.
The smokey voiced songstress has has formally announced her debut single and its release is right around the corner.

Taking to social media, the 22-year-old confirmed ‘Expectations’ as her premiere offering. The track, which she previewed live on tour this summer, will be unleashed on October 12th (next Friday)
And based on the preview below, it looks as though it’ll be arriving in tandem with its accompanying video:

The difference here with 5th Harmony girls is that they aren’t managed by one guy… it’s not a conflict of interest & they have more freedom to make the kind of music they want & they aren’t worried about each other competeing against each other on the charts & making the same style/sound of music of each other… so I definitely wouldn’t compare them to a Destiny’s Child bcuz tbh I don’t ever see them having the impact DC has had on the culture collectively and as soloist… I don’t see any of them becoming icons… I do think Camilla has that “ it factor” on stage …
Dinah and Lauren have the same exact management team and guest who’s getting the extra star push?
They pretend to be best friends on social media and ignore the other ex-members but it’s all business, honey. None of them really f*** with each other. Dinah knows who’s ass to kiss to stay relevant. She’s talented and sweet but a coattail rider nevertheless.

They haven’t birthed one superstar yet. Camila’s success is a fluke because she’s following J.Lo’s blueprint (being a terrible Latina singer who sleeps her away around for relevancy and success). Normani has yet to launch her official solo efforts, which is the one who really has the potential to be a superstar. Lauren and Dinah Jane should fare well as stars (similar to Kelly Rowland level). I forgot who the other one is.
Lol were you there when Camila was sleeping with people? Jheeze. You guys on here kill me sometimes. She recorded a great song that catapulted her to stardom. That’s all. Chill out.
