Christina Aguilera fuelled her ‘Liberation’ campaign with power anthem ‘Fall In Line.’
The Demi Lovato collaboration may not have set the charts ablaze, but it was met with critical acclaim and sits alongside some of the diva’s most revered material.
However, it’s now come to light that Xtina had competition on her hands for the track – from none other than Beyonce.
The revelation came courtesy of artist/producer Jon Bellion, who helmed ‘Fall In Line.’
Rapping on new album ‘Glory Sound Prep,’ he shared that Bey wanted the track…for her Parkwood artists Chloe x Halle:
“Yeah, pick up the phone and someone tells me, “Mr. Bellion, sir
Beyoncé on the line, she tryna reach you on your cellular”
She wanted “Fall In Line,” but we gave it to Aguilera
I hope it’s the right decision, Bey wanted it for the twins she signed”
A Chloe x Halle take on the song would be intriguing to hear. A Beyonce version too.
In any case, we love the end product and continue to have it on replay!
