The Spice Girls Add Extra Dates To ‘Spice World’ Stadium Tour Due To Huge Demand

Published: Saturday 10th Nov 2018 by Sam

The Spice Girls may be a member down, but there’s been no dent in demand for what is shaping up to be one of the biggest spectacles of 2019.

This morning tickets for the group’s Spice World reunion tour went on sale, and demand was so immense that additional dates have been added to the summer stadium run already.

Full story below…

Fans flooded to Ticketmaster in their thousands to snap up entry to the concerts; so much so that the world renown platform struggled to cope with the sheer amount of customers.

Via Twitter, the service shared: “It’s a VERY busy morning and we’re selling tickets fast. To ensure fair access some of you may see queue pages, please follow the instructions.

Many were left disappointed when it seemed all tickets had been purchased. They didn’t need to fret for long, though, because more dates have been added in London, Manchester, and Coventry.

Check out the revised itinerary:

NEW: 31 May 2019 – Manchester – Etihad Stadium

01 June 2019 – Manchester – Etihad Stadium

03 June 2019 – Coventry – Ricoh Stadium

It’s expected. Their production of as always stellar . They are the UK Equivalent of Destiny’s Child, I mean they even had a block buster movie. Beyonce better reband her girls, add Letoya to the mix and embark on a world tour before they cross 40 years

gurl bye… spice girls >>>>>> dc
spice girls are way more legendary and iconic
dc3 could never sell out a stadium tour like the spice girls.. never.

Mr.M yeah they are not. Not even close. They have no Grammys and no successful solo acts- they can’t compete. Michelle Williams alone slays the spice girls

Mel C was pretty successful with her first record selling 4 mil ww. And actually, while I‘m musically more a fan of DC and would love to see them back together, I get the point of spice girls > dc. Though, without checking the facts to be honest, I doubt that this is true, but the spice girls defined a decade. DC never had THAT impact as the spice girls had.

Destinys Child, like The Jackson 5, The Supremes birthed greatests of their generation. There is no Beyonce if there is no Destinys Child. Their awards, musical influence, longevity and versatility far outshines anything the Spice Girls did. They were good for 1 or 2 albums then they fizzled out as throwback acts. They can’t compete with Destinys Child. Each member of Destinys is successful outside of the group and still in mainstream media whether by music, tv, film or whatever. Spice girls are cool for a throwback tho. Can’t compare the two

    Well they’re selling & Nicki McFraud isn’t!!✌??

  6. truthteller November 10, 2018

The people who are saying they are doing so well clearly don’t know the capacity of those “stadiums” on Coventry and Sunderland. We are not talking a stadium in New York or Los Angeles here

    • mr.m November 10, 2018

No we are talking stadiums BIGGER than NY and LA, and your mamas a**

      Manchester – Etihad Stadium +60,000
Edinburgh – BT Murrayfield Stadium +70,000
      London – Wembley Stadium +90,000

      stay pressed.

      • truthteller November 10, 2018

Let me guess, you’re British. You are seriously comparing two English backwaters to Los Angeles and New York

      • XYZ November 10, 2018

There are less people in the UK, so of course are they smaller. But so what? They are doing well selling out these stadiums 20 years after their peak. What are you selling?

      • truthteller November 11, 2018

If the British want to spend their money seeing 4 has beens who were never good live performers even at their peak that is their business. This is the country where Cheryl Cole and Olly Murs are popular after all. I guarantee they will not be selling out stadiums in any other major country
