6ix9nine fans may be rejoicing at news his latest effort, ‘Dummy Boy,’ is set to reign atop the Billboard 200 after a discrepancy was discovered in the counting of its sales. Yet, followers of his ‘Fefe’ co-star, Nicki Minaj, aren’t exactly lifting their glasses to celebrate.
As news circulates ahead of Billboard’s official statement regarding the sales fiasco, the fans – affectionately called #Barbz – are demanding justice for the rapstress’s ill-fated fourth album, ‘Queen.’
The rollout for ‘Queen’ was derailed when rapper Travis Scott unexpectedly beat the femcee to the stop spot with his effort, ‘Astroworld.’
A defensive Minaj went as far as rejecting Billboard’s reports of his win and declared herself the reigning chart champion instead (click here to read more). The reaction may have been judged by some as poor sportsmanship, but others – namely her fans – were in full support and accused Billboard of foul play and favoritism.
After months of silence, those accusations were ramped up again today as reports make their rounds regarding the tight race to #1 by Scott (yet again) and 6ix9nine (click here to read more).
