Full story below…

The Houston native shared the news ahead of her performance at the Capital One Jingle Ball in New York City.

Speaking on studio sessions with the Neptunes frontman, the 22-year-old says she was in awe of his process and how much she values “seeing the greats at work.” She added he was “very encouraging” and “equally as excited” to collaborate with her.

When quizzed on whether we’ll hear the fruits of their creative labor on her LP, she seemed optimistic, confirming that they completed several tracks during their time together.

Peep the full interview, during which she opened up about recently released effort ‘Waves,’ the top 10 success of ‘Love Lies,’ and more:

The pieces of the launch puzzle are coming together so titillatingly. We’re hyped.

Already, Mani has nabbed a hit single, worked with Calvin Harris on two bops, been tapped to open on Ariana Grande‘s ‘Sweetener Tour,’ and now has Pharrell flavored jams incoming.

Suffice to say, the foundation is being laid beautifully for the summer arrival of her project.

I hope he does some tracks with her like “Borderline” off of Ariana Grandes “Sweetener” album. That track is fire AF and the sound is fresh, hot, not too vocally demanding and screaming for an intricate dance routine/video combo!

I like borderline as well. Funny how today, that would sound so fresh to people but to anyone who is really acquainted with pharrell’s work Knows that track is classic pharrell/Neptune’s. It actually sounds like something left off of 702’s ‘star’ album.

@interac YAASSSSSS for the “star” reference. It definitely fell right off of the underrated, Pharrell classic! She should have released it

Girl shut up, “borderline” is Pharrell’s signature sound that he’s used since 2000’s when he became most iconic. She would be a FOOL not to use the classic Pharrell sound he used on “borderline” that he also used on classics like “s**** for you”, “rock your body”, “hot in here”, “shake ya a***”, “grindin” and a plethora of other classics. Don’t come at me with rookie music history knowledge, girl. Go do ur research before you @ me!

She should definitely collab with Camilla and the other 5th harmony girls because their voices compliment each other

She would slay with Dinah, with the right track. Just remember their bit on the ‘He Like That’ video … FIRE.

It’s shame Dinah is waisting her potential with such a generic sound

I’m here for it! Trust me, it’ll be better than his recent work with stale, OLD ASSS, country bumpkin Justin Timberlake ?
