Back in January, a large number of the rapper’s ever-growing fan base discovered that she had been absent from social media prompting fears that she was “missing.”
Today, much to their relief, she has been located.

Keen to escape social media and its distractions, the rapper chose to step away from Instagram and Twitter to create new music for her long-awaited new album.
Sources close to Nicki tell us … she decided to ditch social media at the end of 2017 to fully focus on her music, which is why she’s had no new posts since December 30. We’re told she feels way more creative without the distractions of Instagram and Twitter.
Our sources say Minaj has been working night and day in the studio with major producers and rappers like Lil Wayne, Mack Maine and other Young Money acts … and she’s going to continue to leave social media alone until the album’s complete.
This report will come as good news to fans who remember that she took the same approach months before the completion of her R&B-tinged debut album ‘Pink Friday‘…her highest-selling LP to date.
A due date for the album is yet to be announced.

Just stop. Those has-beens and that trying-to-be are no threat to Nicki or her album sales (check out how their latest singles are failing on Billboard for proof). And touring hole in the wall clubs around the world is nothing to brag about, especially when Nicki’s last world tour was ARENAS.

The delusion is real. Remy’s last single didn’t even chart and Kim? I won’t even go there. The only other rap chick doing anything at the moment is Cardi and I’ll reserve judgement until she releases her album.

It doesn’t matter what she drops, she is still going to flop. The industry has moved on and Cardi B took the spot. What Nicki Minaj wished on Lil’ Kim is what she is going to experience now. She was talking all that sh*t when she was the new girl that everybody supported, now she is going to experience what is like to be in the hip hop dog house. Did nobody teach her that karma always comes back around? Nobody cares about her anymore, and Nicki hasn’t put out any verses that have mattered in years. She built her career off the strength of her monster verse and hasn’t got a classic album on her resume. This chick is DONE. Or to use her words, someone put the dryer sheets on Ms. Minaj.
