Lady GaGa took the time to further explain her short film for ‘Telephone’ on ‘Big Boy’s Neighborhood’ radio show recently. The rising icon posted the above photo of herself and the video’s co-star, Beyonce, on her Twitter last evening. Antonio L.A. Reid has found himself in hot water after being accused of mishandling many of his label’s biggest projects during the last year. The Island Def Jam CEO has reportedly been facing pressure from Lucian Grainge, the new Universal Music Group CEO, following his rampant spending and the incredibly low sales of Mariah Carey and Rihanna’s recent releases. Moreover, Reid’s recent efforts to sign Jennifer Lopez (who has not had a hit record in years) have made him the target of serious media criticism.
Reid was scheduled to answer questions from fellow industry moguls regarding the issue at the Billboard 2010 Music & Money Symposium at the St. Regis last week but failed to make an appearance after one of his sons mysteriously fell ill. To date, Carey’s ‘Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel’ has sold just short of 500k units since it’s release in September while Rihanna’s ‘Rated R’ has only shipped 2.5 worldwide compared to the 2.6 million that her ‘Good Girl Gone Bade’ album sold in the US alone.
Dear Mariah and Rihanna: Get out now! Do not pass ‘go’. Do not collect $200. Just get the heck out of Dodge!

Mariah Carey has been a busy woman lately. Having just ended her ‘Angel’s Advocate’ US tour and preparing for the release of her similarly titled remix album, another track from her new project has surfaced. With her upcoming ‘Pulse’ album ready to be released on May 4th, Toni Braxton has teamed up with an unexpected person on a new track from the LP. The song, ‘Caught (Don’t Take Your Hat Off)’, features none other than Golden Globe Award-winning actress Mo’Nique, who offered a touch of spoken-word comedy to the mellow track. Energetic performer Chris Brown is ready to hit the road once again to support his ‘Graffiti’ album. This time, however, the singer will be giving his international fans a chance to see him perform music from the LP. Brown will be embarking on the 20-show ‘Fan Appreciation Tour’ which will see him making stops in places such as Brazil, Malaysia, Ireland and the UK.
