Hot on the promotional trail for his new album ‘Intuition’, Jamie Foxx performed current single ‘Just Like Me’ on Good Morning America yesterday. Pretty good live showing. I’m really warming to the song a lot more now.

Yesterday, we posted Brandy’s awesome performances from her recent stop on The Tyra Banks Show. Ms. Norwood was also interviewed by the supermodel turned talk show host and opened up about many a topic, including her fake marriage, ‘that’ fatal car accident, her brother Ray J’s sex tape and a whole lot more. Part 1 is above, with the rest watchable below:
Great interview!
Any thoughts?

We reported yesterday that Christina Aguilera will be performing her brand new single ‘Keeps Gettin’ Better’ at this Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards. It turns out we will not have to wait till then to hear the track, as it made its official debut today. I must say it’s definitely not what I was expecting; whether that’s good or not…I honestly can’t say at the moment.
Hit or Miss?

Having posted a snippet of Ciara’s brand new single ‘High Price’ a few months, the full version (well kinda) of the track has surfaced and it’s a banger. Initially somewhat pessimistic about Ciara’s choice of vocal delivery on the cut, I’m really feeling the track after hearing it in its entirety – the vocals, the gritty production, Ludacris’ 32 bars, everything! ‘High Price’ is the first track to be lifted off the 22 year old’s forthcoming three disc LP ‘Fantasy Ride’.
As Teairra Marí continues to prep her as yet untitled Interscope debut (due late 2008 / early 2009), a new track from the LP has surfaced. The mid-tempo ballad titled ‘Finding My Way Back’ sees the 20 year old lament on her continued return to a ‘bad relationship’. She sounded great on both songs. The ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ feature on ‘We Break The Dawn’ was a nice tie-in.

Billboard.com have revealed some very interesting details about Ciara forthcoming studio album ‘Fantasy Ride’:R&B singer Ciara has slated her third album, “Fantasy Ride,” for a September release via Jive. Rather than one standard CD, the music will be spread across three separately packaged discs, bundled together, each with five to six songs catering to a different theme. The first disc is called “Groove City” and will contain sensual songs like “Promise,” while the second disc is called “Crunktown” and includes tracks akin to Ciara’s 2004 introductory single, “Goodies.” Finally, the up-tempo “Kingdom of Dance” will showcase Ciara’s house-leaning, freestyle-tinged cuts.
Producer Tricky Stewart, who crafted Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” is co-executive-producing the project along with Ciara. Danja is helming both “Crunktown” and “Kingdom of Dance,” while “Groove City” is led by Tricky and Jasper.
An official single will drop in June, according to the label.
Now that’s what I’m talking about! Despite Ciara being immensely talented, I oft wonder how she’d be able to take it to the next level artistically and leave a lasting impression Ala the Beyonce’s and co etc. This, her latest venture, really seems to be her real ‘evolution’.
That Grape Juice, once again, wants to see what you guys are listening to. Which 5 tracks have you got on constant rotation at the moment? Remember, it doesn’t have to be limited to R&B or Hip-Hop; could be something new, throwback, even something you made yourself lol. Drop a comment in the comments section. Mine are – in no particular order:

Like myself, I’m sure many of you are tired of Soulja Boy’s ‘Crank That’ song/craze, but this remix caught my attention. Last month I posted a performance of the 17 year old performing a more edgy-rock inspired version of the song on the Jimmy Kimmel show with former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker. Since then, this studio version of the remix has surfaced; I’m liking this one alot and think it’s actually better than the original.
