It’s been a difficult few months for Pop trier Alesha Dixon. In spite of a huge budget for her ‘The Entertainer’ LP, the album could only manage a #84 debut on the Official UK Albums Chart, with its preceding and proceeding singles faring only mildly better.
Back with fellow UK’er Jay Sean in her corner, Dixon debuts the video for their duet ‘Every Little Part of Me’. Are the song and video enough to save the singer’s deal? You be the judge after the jump…
Alesha Dixon my ‘The Entertainer’, yet it seems no one cares. Well, at least not enough. For the former Misteeq star’s latest studio album has bombed in quite spectacular fashion on the Official UK Album Chart.

Alesha Dixon‘s latest round of promotional performances are no doubt seeing her fight not only for the success of her new single ‘Radio’, but also her record deal.
For, despite major Radio 1 backing, a US shot video, and her highly publicised role on Strictly Come Dancing, ‘Radio’ sits at an abysmal #101 on iTunes following its release this week. This on the heels of the chart disappointment that was ‘Drummer Boy’ - which too had many a high profile performance, as well as radio support and a pricey video, only to peak at #15 on the Official UK Singles Chart.
Needless to say, its hardly a successful start for her second studio LP ‘The Entertainer’, which hits stores tomorrow. With labels ever-ready to drop acts if projects don’t bring back adequate returns, it’s not looking good for Ms. Dixon…at all.
In any case, peep her latest performance of the song on Daybreak earlier this week.
Pop starlet Alesha Dixon is set to unleash her sophomore LP ‘The Entertainer’ on November 26th. The album, which has much riding on it (given the lead single, ‘Drummer Boy’s, tanking), is now available for preview.

The opus is ushered in by lead singles ‘Drummer Boy’ and ‘Radio’; the latter of which Dixon will be hoping becomes a hit, after the former tanked on the charts.
Pop starlet Alesha Dixon released the video for new single ‘Radio’ today. The song serves as the second single to be lifted from forthcoming LP ‘The Entertainer’ (due November 29th).

Alesha Dixon‘s brand new single ‘Radio’ made its debut today – and it couldn’t have come any sooner.
With the release of her new album ‘The Entertainer’ drawing ever-nearer, the former Misteeq star will no doubt be looking to this release to off-set the commercial failure that was the project’s lead single ‘Drummer Boy’. Whether it’ll play out as such remains to be seen, however you can make your own judgements by listening to the track after the jump…
Following the so-so performance of Alesha Dixon‘s ‘Drummer Boy’, the former Misteeq star will no doubt be pinning her hopes on its successor single – which has been confirmed to be ‘Radio’.

R&B-Pop starlet Alesha Dixon graces the cover of RWD magazine’s September issue. Looking good.
In other Alesha news, the former Misteeq singer’s new LP ‘The Entertainer’ has gotten off to a shaky start, ahead of its November release. Lead single ‘Drummer Boy’ failed to resonate with listeners – managing a lowly #15 peak on the Official UK Singles Chart. This coming despite major radio backing, a slew of TV performances, and a high-budget video.
With the 31 year old’s label having invested serious £££ into the project (the follow-up to 2008′s moderately successful ‘The Alesha Show’), Ms. Dixon will no doubt need to stage a water-into-wine esque feat with her next single if her place at the label is to remain safe.
Randomness: I wonder why there was next-to-no fuss made over the fact Alesha and Alexandra Burke released their singles in the same week? In any case, as reported Burke rocketed to #1 with ‘Start Without You’ – which according to midweek figures is set to hold onto the top spot this week.
Check out these new promotional shots for Alesha Dixon‘s new LP ‘The Entertainer’. The album, which hit stores in November, is preceded by the single ‘Drummer Boy’.
