After the wake of Destiny’s Child disbandment, “Making the Band” winners Danity Kane seemed poised to quickly fill the trio’s “girl group” void. Armed with all the makings of a diva syndicate (i.e. – actual talent), the fivesome – comprised of Aubrey O’Day, D. Woods, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, and Aundrea Fimbres – flew to the top of charts on the wings of songs like ‘Show Stoppers’ and ‘Damaged’.
Despite their successes, the group barely made it out of album #2 before announcement their disbandment. And, while the likes of O’Day, Richard, and Woods all went on to varying levels of success, fans still longed for the full effect of the quintet.
Well, fans should long no more if reports that surfaced today are to be believed. Find out what we mean below:

For many, the disbanding of Danity Kane will forever remain one of Pop’s biggest tragedies. However, in snaps that will no doubt delight fans, two of the group’s integral components, Aubrey O’Day and Dawn Richard, continue to mend fences.
The pair shared shots of themselves catching up on Instagram over the weekend; Richard initially took to Twitter writing that she was in a music vibe session, later re-tweeting the Insta pics of her and Aubrey revealing that they had “beautiful time” and great conversation.
Needless to say, we’re filing this in the “things we love to see” folder. Naturally, the snaps will send speculation into overdrive regarding a DK reunion. And while, like the masses, we’d love to see one, we suspect that chapter is closed for some (if not all) of the ladies. Still, we have moments like these to reminisce on….

Pop siren Aubrey O’Day is pressing on with her solo ambitions.
The Danity Kane diva took centre-stage at the Krave Massive New Year’s Eve Party in Las Vegas on Tuesday morning, serving up a titillating set of songs from her DK heyday as well as solo favourites such as ‘Automatic’ and ‘Wrecking Ball’. O’Day also premiered her latest single ‘Before I Drown’.

Four years have passed since Danity Kane disbanded, yet each of the group’s members continue to grind for solo success.
Case, point Aubrey O’Day, who this morning lifted the lid on ‘Wrecking Ball’ - her first music video as a solo artist.
Penned by Pia Toscano, the cut was released independently many moons ago, which likely explains the delay with its accompanying visual.
Does Ms. O’Day have what it takes to break that Bad Boy spell? The answer awaits below…

Cop a gander of Danity Kane diva Aubrey O’Day on the set of her latest music video.
It appears the outspoken star is really back on her music hustle, as the clip is not for her own song, rather her remix of Gotye‘s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’.
Anyway to keep her buzz a’buzzin’, ay? We look forward to the clip.

Pop vixen Aubrey O’Day continues steady on her grind, yesterday shooting the video for her new single ‘Wrecking Ball’.
The cut, which was penned by Idol album Pia Toscano, is the Danity Kane diva’s first musical offering since wrapping Celebrity Apprentice.
No word on the status of her deal with Universal Music / SRC, nor the whereabouts of her Oxygen show ‘All About Aubrey’.
Still, she hustles and hustles hard; think about it – she hasn’t been “out” of the media-scape since Danity dissolved in 2008.

We love us some Aubrey O’Day, yet can’t help but feel that she does herself no favours. At all.
With Celebrity Apprentice wrapped, the former Danity Kane doll is back on her media grind, yesterday serving as the guest host at Rehab Sundays, a pool party at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Garnished in fake fan a plenty, the ‘Automatic’ singer was snapped her with puppies (and “puppies”) on full display.
Granted the “vixen” angle is Aubrey’s long-established playing card, it simply hasn’t been working for the longest. She’s entirely too talented to be perpetrating this “Barbie” wahala – which itself has been played out for years now. Like, how does she expect to be taken seriously?
Fingers crossed for an image overhaul ahead of another proper push at solo stardom. For her sake.
