Retro Rewind: Beyonce Performs ‘Dangerously In Love’ Live At The ‘Dangerously In Love Tour’

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Beyonce‘s debut album ‘Dangerously In Love‘, we’re dedicating the entire week to the classic project…billing the next seven days ‘TGJ’s ‘Dangerously In Love’ Takeover‘.

Unearthing performances, interviews and trivia from the classic era, we kick off this week with a trip down memory lane, stepping all the way back to November 3rd 2003.

For on this day, the 17 time Grammy winner launched her first solo stage tour- kicking off at Manchester’s MEN Arena and ending 16 days later at Frits Van Dongen‘s Heineken Music Hall!

Now watch and listen to her perform the oft overlooked but ever loved ‘Yes‘ and ‘Dangerously In Love’ live at London’s Wembley Arena below!

For anyone old enough remember to release of Beyonce‘s debut album ‘Dangerously In Love’, its 10th anniversary will no doubt bring back many a fond memory.

Following the critical success of Kelly Rowland‘s Alternative R&B piece ‘Simply Deep’ and Michelle Williams’ speedy ascent to the top of Gospel, ‘Love’ came two years after its title track featured on Destiny’s Child 2001 LP ‘Survivor’, a classic in its own right.

Believe it or not, today marks the 10th anniversary of Beyonce‘s debut album ‘Dangerously In Love’- an album that redefined Pop culture for good.

The launching pad for a career that served to birth so many after hers, the R&B project saw the entertainer rise from the comfort of Destiny’s Child, and ultimately overshadow the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Ashanti, dwarfing their run at the top with a campaign that saw Mathew Knowles exercise every tool and rule in the book to ensure its success.

Now, 11 million albums later, we celebrate the project’s greatest moment….the star’s performance of its title track at 46th Annual Grammy Awards.

Weigh In: Khia Continues 3-Day Twitter Attack On #Beyhive

 

With promoting her next triple styrofoam seller ‘Got Me F***ed Up’ seemingly at the bottom of her “to-do” list, rapstress Khia has launched a three day Twitter tirade against burgeoning pop icon Beyonce and her faithful ‘#Beyhive’.

Indeed, the back-to-back stings from some of the fanbase’s most outspoken members only acted as fuel for the ‘My Neck, My Back’ creator as she also threw jabs at Drake, Chris Brown and Amanda Bynes.

The series of attacks did see some of pop’s top performers earn favor from the chart absentee however, as the likes of Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Lady Gaga were all showered with praises.

But, as the tweets below reveal, that courtesy was not extended to a certain 17-time Grammy winner…

Ne-Yo On Beyonce Album: ‘ They’re Still Figuring Out What They Want That To Be’

Whether speeding on R&B lanes or making waves on EDM seas, Ne-Yo– it would seem- is incapable of making poor music.

Perhaps with this in mind, he was enlisted by Camp Beyonce to submit material for her hotly anticipated new album recently after enjoying critical acclaim with his latest LP ‘RED’.

Now, in an interview with Billboard Magazine, the Grammy winning chart topper has revealed that Beyonce is still in the developmental stages of the album…and is yet to decide in which direction she hopes to take it.
