With sales and a mainstream appeal that’s made her the envy of many a R&B diva, Tamar Braxton undoubtedly finds herself in the ‘good books’ of any familiar with her genre, and its staple acts.
However, by way of a comment published on her official Twitter account, she may have scored a new found enemy in Britney Spears’ fan base this week, after she weighed in on a message published by the ‘Chart News’ twitter account on the icon’s latest album ‘Britney Jean.’

Reworked to accommodate her current ‘capabilities’, Britney Spears’ ‘Toxic’ choreography was brought to life once again hours ago, when the star returned to the Axis Theatre to continue on in her ‘Vegas’ residency venture.
How she fared? Decently…serving the energy many would agree she lacked during 2011′s ‘Femme Fatale‘ era, despite still leaving much to be desired on a dance tip.

As Lady GaGa fans wait with bated breath for the singer’s next move, the star appears to be on a brief break of sorts.
The singer shared a shot of herself Las Vegas with none other than Britney Spears.
Mother Monster was in-town to watch the former stage blazer try her best at her Planet Hollywood residency.
Based on the clips we’ve seen, the show appears to offer little more than “that” 2007 VMA performance that sent shockwaves through the industry, however it appears GaGa had a genuinely enjoyable time.
She prefaced she shot above with…
As unfortunate as Britney’s current predicament is, we continue to hold a spec of hope that one day some day we’ll see (at least shades of) ‘Slave 4 U’ Brit back on the scene.

He’s the 8-count crafting genius hailed by many as one of the greatest dancers to grace entertainment. We’re talking about Brian Friedman of course, responsible for the moves executed in Britney Spears‘ ‘Slave 4 U’, and Mya‘s ‘My Love Is Like...’, to name just two.
This year, he sets his sights on Ciara‘s would-be hit ‘Overdose’, developing choreography for the upbeat number and sharing it with the world via his official YouTube channel.

Piece of poo would be a more accurate description of recent reports that have indicated Britney Spears’ Vegas residency ’Piece of Me’ has out-performed preceding pop legends Celine Dion and Elton John‘s similar runs in just a matter of days.
Indeed, the miscalculations, misestimations, and mishaps that have fueled media chronicles that crowned the pop princess’s Vegas showing the third-best run in history have proven themselves premature. Moreover, those reports were only analyzing a portion of data and not the big picture.

Britney Spears and co. may have thought they smelled a hit in the form of ‘Perfume’ – the second single from her ill-fated ‘Britney Jean’ album, but time has told otherwise.
In a bid to reignite waning interest in the project – a feat that could prove itself quite difficult – the pop princess pops the top on the robotic, Will.I.Am-produced “It Should Be Easy”. Quietly lifting the tune to her VeVo yesterday, the song could be christened the third cut from the underperforming set (though no official word has been delivered yet).
With fan favorites ‘Alien’ still lying in wait, do you think that ‘Easy’ is the next best choice from Spear’s critical and commercial disaster? Tell us below:

Indeed, after 2013′s close saw former foes Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera joined forces for ’Do What U Want’, music lovers kick their new year off getting cozy with ‘Can’t Remember To Forget You’ - the dynamo diva duet of Grammy-winning songstresses Shakira & Rihanna.
Launching what we hope is a year of diva double teams, the song inks its name aboard a long list of memorable collabos from the ladies of pop & R&B – collectively putting to rest rumors that women don’t work well together in the industry. And, while the net (and we at TGJ) are still making up our minds on Shakira and Ri’s latest offering, we can’t help but reflect on the ‘best of’ diva duets to see how the Roc Nation duo stack up.
