As fans embrace ‘The Boy Is Mine’ successor ‘It All Belongs To Me’ – the dynamic R&B reunion of belters Brandy and Monica – the song looks to kick off what may be a year of diva double teams. Britney Spears And Alicia Keys To Appear On Will.i.am LP

Whether he likes it or not, Will.i.am has always struggled as a solo act.

From facing the shame that was ‘Change Is Now’ to failing to chart with any of the singles lifted from ‘Songs About Girls’, Mr. Adams’ solo work has oft played second fiddle to the work he creates for other artists.

Now, in a bid to generate momentum for his LP #willpower, he has revealed that Britney Spears and Alicia Keys are both features on the forthcoming project.

‘Like A Prayer’ performer Madonna is apparently looking to answer the prayers of many-a-fan who have long awaited the follow-up to her 2008 #1 album ‘Hard Candy’. In conjunction with keeping herself atop headlines for temporarily trading in her ‘diva’ title for ‘director’ billing in ‘W.E.’, the singer is readying a comeback to Billboard with ‘MDNA’ - her 12th. Premiering its lead single via live performance at this year’s SuperBowl, the ‘Hung Up’ hitmaker enlisted rap eccentric Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. for backing on the album’s first single ‘Give Me All Your Love’.

While fans anxiously await the song’s official unveiling, Madge is oiling up her promo machine and it begins with an interview on ABC’s ‘NightLine’. Set to air tomorrow night, Miss Ciccone has already alluded to thoughts on pop predecessor Lady Gaga, but see what she had to say about other heir to throne Britney Spears in this alternate preview of the forthcoming interview:

Oh Britney, Britney. We were never supposed to know…

And yet how could we not after peeping these digitally enhanced shots of the singer in V Magazine? Spears is almost unrecognisable in the snaps, which were published to celebrate some of last year’s biggest tours and the folk who put them together.

However, it’s safe to say the shots are as legit as her “live” vocals.

The slimmer frame, head from another body, all ridiculous. One really has to wonder when this farce will end.

Britney Spears’ ‘Femme Fatale Tour’ Rakes In $69 Million

If the last year in music has proved anything, it is that whatever industry politics, changes in the chart system and unforeseen controversies throw at an artist, nothing can hinder the success of that performer if they are backed by a loyal and willing support base.

This week saw Pop icon Britney Spears learn that lesson all too well.

For, despite the lack luster sales generated by her latest ‘Femme Fatale‘ outing, its supporting tour has raked in a whopping 69 million dollars, beating the likes of Lady GaGa and Katy Perry on this year’s list of highest grossing Pop tours.

As earlier reported, Pop force Britney Spears this week became engaged to long-term boyfriend Jason Trawick.

And what better way to celebrate her impending nuptials than to party it up in Las Vegas. Together with her 40 year old fiance, the soon-to-be Mrs Trawick helped him ring in his birthday, making sure to flash her sparkling engagement ring.
