It may be hard to believe, but it’s been 7 years since Cassie released her self titled debut album.
So, it’d be fair to say that the arrival of new music by the star will be welcomed by those in tune with the her journey, which has seen her play anything but musician in recent years.

Six long years have passed since Cassie‘s trademark coo debuted on club classic ‘Me & U’.
And while the 2021 days since then have been good to the 25 year old’s modelling career, her music has been a non-starter.
Hoping to reverse her fortunes, the Bad Boy star is gearing up to unwrap her new single ‘King of Hearts’ and its accompanying video on a particularly apt occasion.

‘Me & U’ whisperer Cassie is ready to blast her 2012 off with a bang! In such stride, recent weeks have seen the model-with-a-mic drop by many outlets teasing her soon to surface offerings including a lengthy trailer of ‘King Of Hearts’ – the first single from her forthcoming LP. Now titled ‘The Seductress’, the serially delayed set has been over 5 years in the making.
But, much to fan delight, 2012 is set to see Puffy’s puppet Ms. Ventura showcase her non-bedroom related talents once again. While some followers of the songstress have grown weary in anticipation of the full view for the album’s lead visual (as its trailer debuted over a month ago), this weekend saw Cassie take to Twitter to tease its arrival:
We will hold our judgment until the clip is revealed in its entirety. But chances are, as the trailer has already revealed, this Laurie Ann Gibson choreographed clip may be best viewed on mute.

Snapped by acclaimed photographer Mick Rock, the ladies were named ‘fearless females’ by the fashion publication which has featured the likes of Lady GaGa, Beyonce and Rihanna in the past.

Now that 2012 has finally kicked off, fans of Bad Boy belle Cassie can look forward to the release of her new album set to hit US stores in coming months.
So to generate an even greater buzz for the project,today saw the song bird release a one minute demo of ‘King Of Hearts’, an upbeat dance number that features on the project.

Say what you will about vocal powerhouse Cassie Ventura, but to say she doesn’t take a pretty picture would be nothing short of a lie.
For, these snaps of the singer taken for ‘Idol’ magazine’s Illuminati themed issue only serve to prove that what she lacks in discernible talent is most certainly made up for in looks.

In the spirit of the similarly billed, some ‘performers’ perform best when mute. The posterchild of such notion is certainly no-time Grammy winning vocal less vocalist Cassie. The ‘Long Way 2 Go’ singer, whose growing endorsement deals include Carol’s Daughter, saw her lend her look to a recent campaign for the beauty brand.

Word has it the songstress is not only putting the finishing touches on her forthcoming album, but she is readying a new music video for ‘King of Hearts’ (scheduled for release in the coming weeks). The video features choreography from none other than famed Lady Gaga choreo-craftswoman Laurie Ann Gibson.
Vocal powerhouse Cassie was snapped looking all flavours of fierce on the red carpet of the ‘CULO By Mazzucco’ launch in New York last night.
The ‘Me & U’ model is still working on her sophomore set, which – at 5 years in the making – has survived countless delays, as well as a record label change. (Diddy sure looks after his).
