In what has become an on-going pattern with the X Factor this year, the series has once again hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
As many of our UK readers will know, controversy struck the competition over the weekend when contestant Katie Waissel was saved over TreyC Cohen. This, despite forgetting her words in the final sing-off (again) and being labelled the inferior singer of the two by Simon Cowell – who still went on to vote for her to stay.

However, she and her team will no doubt looking to re-affix the focus on the LP as its release draws nearer – case, point, example, today’s unveiling of its artwork (above).
Based on that shot, her team seem to have opted to cultivate a cover which mirrors her ‘talent’ (see: uninspired, amateur, and generally, yet postively crap).
‘Messy Little Raindrops’ hits stores November 1st.
