The Chris Brown promo train made a 2nd stop on BET’s ’106 & Park’ this evening. Keri Hilson’s video for ‘One Night Stand (Ft. Chris Brown)’ could not have come at a better time. With the song leaping up the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart (currently positioned at #68 after only 2 weeks), ‘Pretty Girl Rock’ experiencing renewed popularity and Brown at the centre of media attention, the Colin Tilley-directed clip is almost a guaranteed hit.
Jennifer Hudson might be able to hit high notes with her voice but Chris Brown’s dance moves may help him to go even higher. As the chart rumble intensifies, Brown is set to outsell his belting counterpart on the Billboard 200 next week.
Chris Brown had a a very busy day in New York City yesterday. However, the ‘Beautiful People’ singer took a break from the promo trail for his ‘F.A.M.E’ LP to play basketball with friends in Manhattan before celebrating the debut of the album alongside Bow Wow, Kevin McCall and others at a launch party for the disc at Webster Hall.
Chris Brown fans have certainly been spoilt today. As well as a slew of promotional appearances to support his new ‘F.A.M.E’ LP, the video for the project’s latest single ‘Beautiful People’ surfaced moments ago.

While media outlets continue to focus on Chris Brown’s eventful interview on ‘Good Morning America’ today, many have forgotten that the he also performed live in the show’s studio. The entertainer delivered a rousing performance of his club anthem ‘Yeah 3x’, proving that, despite what the tabloids might report, he is one of the best in the dancers game today.
The 1st major chart battle of 2011 is finally here! However, this is a showdown with a twist as it will take place between 2 completely different types artists – Jennifer Hudson and Chris Brown.
Hudson’s ‘I Remember Me’ serves as the singer’s 2nd studio album, following her gold-certified self-titled debut LP which was released in 2008. The record, which includes credits from Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, R. Kelly and Dianna Warren, has received generally positive reviews from critics across the board.
On the other side of the spectrum, Brown’s ‘F.A.M.E’ album is already being heralded as the year’s comeback project to watch. Preceded by the worldwide smash ‘Yeah 3x’ and the unexpected hit ‘Deuces (Ft. Tyga & Kevin McCall)’, the collection comprises a blockbuster lineup of collaborators such as Lil Wayne and Justin Bieber.
