Hot Shot: Chrisette Michele’s Shares New Album Cover

From the looks of things there will be Better days ahead for Chrisette Michele fans.

After months of teasers the ‘Charades’ singer has unveiled the cover to her fourth studio LP ‘Better’.  Due June 11th from Motown Records, the album is set to feature a number of big names including Musiq Soulchild, Wale, 2 Chainz, etc. and follows her well received mixtape ‘Audrey Hepburn:  An Audiovisual Presentation‘.

Joining songstress India Arie, Kelly Rowland, Ashanti, Ciara, and many more with her release, it appears R&B will be alive and well this summer.

New Video: Chrisette Michele – ‘A Couple Of Forevers’

Soul-filled songbird Chrisette Michele kicks off her ‘Better’ album campaign with the video for the project’s lead single ‘A Couple Of Forevers’.

Unwrapped moments ago, the romantic clip was shot by noted photographer Derek Blanks - which goes some way to explain the video’s lush visuals.

With the April 30th release of ‘Better’ inching nearer, this should serve as a tasty appetizer for the set which features Wale, Musiq Soulchild, and 2 Chainz.

Watch: Melanie Fiona & Chrisette Michele Salute Whitney Houston With Tribute Performances

As music fans know, this week saw the one-year anniversary of the passing of late pop icon Whitney Houston.

To commemorate such, Billboard is collecting some of this generation’s top vocal performers to salute the diva by covering numbers from her catalog of hits.  Kicking off the week-long tribute to Houston are R&B belles Chrisette Michele & Melanie Fiona.

While Michele chose to put her jazzy spin on Whitney’s up-tempo top hit ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’, Fiona opted to slow things down with a stirring performance of ‘One Moment In Time’.  See the starlets shine below:

A Soulful concoction of everything we’ve come to love from Chrisette, we so see this garnering play aplenty on on Adult-Contemporary radio.
