Angel & Cleo Sol Pay Homage To Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Amerie & More

Here at That Grape Juice we’re not just keen to introduce you to new talent, we value the importance of following their journey. Case, point, British breakout stars Angel and Cleo Sol (pictured above).

Both are building an ever-growing buzz on home-soil, hence were invited by BBC 1xtra to celebrate the station’s 10 year anniversary by performing a medley of R&B hits from the last decade.

Together, the pair (who featured in our Freshly Squeezed spotlight), saluted hits from the likes of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Amerie and more.

Freshly Squeezed: Luke James, Cleo Sol, & Angel

Here at That Grape Juice, we’re not just keen to spotlight new talent…but also to follow them on their journey.

Hence this edition of Freshly Squeezed features three faces we’ve introduced you to already – R&B powerhouse Luke James, sultry songstress Cleo Sol, and UK pin-up Angel.

As he puts the finishing touches to his hotly anticipated debut album, James keeps his buzz a’buzzing with the steamy video for ‘Mo’ Better Blues’ (a cut from his “pre-album” ‘#Luke’). Meanwhile, Cleo Sol glams it up in the visual for her summer sizzler ‘Never The Right Time’, as label-mate Angel debuts the video for ‘Wonderful’ – the lead single from his eagerly awaited LP.

Must Hear: Cleo Sol – ‘Never The Right Time’

Who is Cleo Sol?

It’s a question no doubt on the minds of many reading this. Yet, it’s a question the Londoner provides an emphatic answer to with debut single ‘Never The Right Time’.

British bred, the 22 year old has been a fixture on the London live circuit, drumming up a buzz which carried her into Island Records late last year. There she would ink her first major label deal.
