Hip-Hop fans have another reason to celebrate as Drake has been added to the MTV VMA performers lineup. The rapper, whose debut album, ‘Thank Me Later’, has already been certified platinum in the US since it’s June 15th release, joins Usher, P!nk, Jay-Z, Katy Perry and Kanye West among others. The MTV VMA’s will air live on September 12th.
Drake looks set to keep the momentum of his soon-to-be-Platinum LP ‘Thank Me Later‘ going with the release of new single ‘Fancy’. The Anthony Mandler directed video was shot this week, and features cameos from rapper T.I. and hitmaker Swizz Beats.

After the massive success of his #1 debut album, ‘Thank Me Later’, Drake has announced to his fans on Twitter that he is already working on a followup. To date, ‘Thank Me Later’ has already sold over 600k in the US alone. Check out his announcement below (via Rap-Up):
