In case you thought being one of the best-selling gospel artists in history was enough for Yolanda Adams, you thought wrong.
Aside from listing multiple chart toppers on Billboard tallies over the past two decades, the Grammy winning diva has also brought her megawatt talents and smile to a number of projects including film, television, radio, and most recently, her own bath and body line ‘Simply Yolanda’.
With the venture being one of many keeping her ever busy, Adams took time to chat exclusively to That Grape Juice about it, her love life, new music in the works with legendary production duo Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis (Janet Jackson) and hit songwriter Diane Warren, her love of gospel newcomers Joshua Rogers, Livre, and so much more.
What are you waiting for? Tuck in below to see it all:
Actor (stage, television, and movies), singer, model, producer, and writer are just a few of the titles that occupy space on his resume. Probably most remembered from his roles Tyler Perry’s hotly selling stage productions “What’s Done In The Dark” and “Madea Goes To Jail”, the Detroit born heartthrob has most recently thrilled audiences as ‘Troy’ aboard the hit BET sitcom ‘Let’s Stay Together’.
That Grape Juice recently caught up with Keyes to discuss his time on the show, music career, and clear up rumors that he will be starring in a ‘Magic Mike’ remake with an all African American cast.
For over two decades the name Kym Whitley has been synonymous with loads of laughs.
With a resume that shines of comedic gems on film and television (‘Next Friday’, ‘Nutty Professor II’,‘Martin’, and more), Whitley has seen her name billed aboard films with today’s top comedians from Eddie Murphy to Martin Lawrence.
But, while still rocking screens and stages around the globe, the comedienne recently found herself the source of smiles for a new fan - adopted son Joshua. Taking to OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) to share their story via her hit reality show ‘Raising Whitley’, Kym dishes exclusively to That Grape Juice about how the show came to be, juggling motherhood with fame, and so much more!
Eleven long years have passed since the fiery femcee blessed the industry with a studio album. However, next month sees the star open a new musical chapter with comeback LP ‘Lip Lock’.
In the making since 2007, the ‘She Bad Bad’ led project has survived two record deals and will finally arrive on the rapper’s independent imprint From The Rib Music on May 14th in the US. A European release is scheduled for later this Summer.

‘When I See You’ songstress Fantasia has seen herself aboard a media rollercoaster since the turn of the decade.
Indeed, kicking it off with her Grammy-award winning, 2010 top-seller ‘Back To Me’, the singer shortly thereafter found herself back atop headlines for a spectrum of a reasons – many of which, she tells That Grape Juice, nearly led her to walk away from the very platform that brought her fame.
Now, as her fourth album ‘Side Effects of You’ hit shelves today, Tasia talks exclusively about why it is her most personal to date (addressing those issues “head-on”), the future of her once-scheduled Mahalia Jackson biopic, and so much more.
Award winning gospel singer Fred Hammond‘s career has seen few rivals. Indeed, be it rocking charts with legendary gospel group Commissioned, choir Radical for Christ, or even by his lonesome, the hitmaker has watched the likes of hits ‘Glory To Glory’, ‘No Weapon’, ‘Jesus Be a Fence’, and many more skyrocket to the top of many-a-gospel tally.
Now penning a new chapter in his already storied career, the Grammy winner has called on fellow prized crooners Brian Courtney Wilson, Dave Hollister, and Eric Roberson to fill out a new collective christened ‘United Tenors’.
Recently seeing their first effort debut at #1 on the gospel charts, Hammond talks exclusively to That Grape Juice to dish on how the project came to be, exciting forthcoming ventures, and more.
Gospel Singer Fred Hammond Shouts Out That Grape Juice
The first and youngest producer signed to hip hop hitmaker’s Pharrell Williams’ imprint Star Trak, the 23-year-old (under the pupilage of Williams) has crafted a number of gems for some of gospel’s heaviest hitters – namely sister Kierra Sheard.
Indeed, the Detroit native is a branch sprouted from a long-lasting gospel legacy that extends from grandmother/gospel legend Mattie Moss Clark to, of course, mother Karen Clark Sheard (one-fourth of legendary gospel group The Clark Sisters). But, despite having such musical nest to call home, JDS seems poised to soar in a different direction – a move that has lent him mixed review.
Speaking exclusively to That Grape Juice, the singer/songwriter/producer dishes about his family legacy, critics who have bashed his decision to experiment outside of gospel, and his family’s BET reality show ‘The Sheards’ set for premiere tonight, April 7th at 10/9c.

If ever there was a musical act with 9 lives it would be Sevyn Streeter.
Indeed, after making her mark with groups TG4 and Richgirl, Streeter is now riding down the solo path – looking to carve her name atop Billboard by her lonesome with hits like “I Like It” from her forthcoming solo LP.
Chatting exclusively to That Grape Juice, the singer-songwriter (who has lent her pen to hits for the likes of Alicia Keys, Kelly Rowland, Brandy, and more) talks about crafting her own debut album, working with R&B bad boy Chris Brown his new album ‘X’, and so much more!
After a brief break from the spotlight, the Soulful Grammy winner is gearing up to release his fourth studio album ‘Love In The Future’ this June.
That Grape Juice were privy to preview the LP in London recently, and also sat down with the man himself to discuss the edgy set (which is executive produced by Kanye West and led by the Rick-Ross assisted ‘Who Do We Think We Are’).
