Soul-filled singer Miguel has much to smile about this week. For, his hotly anticipated sophomore set ‘Kaleidoscope Dream’ is not only riding high on iTunes, it’s been also received showers of praise from critics.

During his recent trip to London, That Grape Juice caught up with the eclectic star for a unique chat. Filmed Diary-style enroute to his sell-out show at the Jazz Cafe, we spoke on the new LP, the hyper-sexual lyrics of his contemporaries, his previous “image”, and more.

Exclusive: Faith Evans Talks R&B Divas, Whitney Houston, & New Album

That Grape Juice caught up with soulful songbird Faith Evans recently on the Los Angeles set of her new video ‘Tears of Joy’.

The R&B royal has been enjoying a resurgence of sorts following the success of TV One’s hit reality series R&B Divas. A savvy business woman, Evans is using the medium to remind the masses of her unquestionable (yet oft underrated) talent by releasing an album of the same name tomorrow.

That Grape Juice Interviews Marcus Canty

The premiere season of The X Factor USA brought with it many a twist and turn, as well as a wealth of new talent – one of the most notable being Marcus Canty.

After finishing fourth on the show, the 21 year old was swiftly signed up by mentor LA Reid to join his revitalised Epic Records roster.

The fruit of that union has been R&B bliss, with both of Canty’s singles ‘Won’t Make A Fool Out Of You’ and ‘In & Out’ drumming up ample buzz.

With the Washington DC native hard at work on his debut EP ‘This Is..Marcus Canty’ (due October 30th), we quizzed him on his background, ditching basketball for music, whether he has any fears coming from a talent show, and much more.

Brandy is back!

It’s been four long years since the R&B veteran had her last march up Billboard charts. A feat all the more surprising given the singer’s media presence over the time since has by no means diminished.

Tackling TV (‘Drop Dead Diva’, ‘The Game’) and movies (‘Marriage Counselor’), brand Brandy has been on the rebound and at a steady pace.

As one fifth of R&B troupe Day 26, Willie Taylor enjoyed notoriety as one the genre’s more prolific acts-watching their debut album rocket to the top of the Billboard 200 upon its March 2008 release.
