Tonight’s ‘Kids Choice Awards’ brought with it another rocking performance of Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Hudson‘s soon-to-be-hit ‘Trouble,’ while the rapstress’ former tourmate, Nick Jonas, took to the stage with his top 10 hit ‘Jealous.’

Jennifer Hudson and Juicy J lend their skills to ‘Empire’s star-studded soundtrack this week, unlocking the jam ‘Whatever Makes You Happy’ as the show’s ratings continue to rise with each jaw dropping episode!

Her addition to the album comes after Brit-Pop queen Rita Ora was handpicked by the show’s producers to record material for the same release, no doubt hoping to inherit support from her ever-swelling fan base.

2015 Academy Awards Clock Ceremony’s Lowest Ratings Since 2009

For all of the tweet-worthy moments over its lengthy 3.5 hour airtime (see: emotional speeches, off-color commentary, jaw-dropping live performances courtesy of Jennifer Hudson, John Legend & Lady Gaga), the day after the  87th annual Academy Awards is finding the show lining tweets for another reason – a severe drop in ratings.

The Neil Patrick Harris-hosted affair, which aired February 22 on ABC, not only brought with it a 17% drop in viewers from last year’s showing, but also reigns as the ceremony’s lowest ratings tally this decade.

The 87th Annual Academy Awards may be flooding Twitter timelines for its host of memorable quotes (i.e. “honoring the best & whitest,”), red carpet slayage, and trophy wins and snubs, but its most talked about moments may have just come courtesy of its music performances.

As if Rita Ora didn’t rock the stage enough with her amazing live showing of ‘Grateful,’ found aboard the ‘Beyond the Lights’ soundtrack, Grammy winners Common, John Legend and Jennifer Hudson hit the Dolby Theatre stage to perform stunning renditions of songs from some of this year’s nominated films and more.

Performances: ‘Songs in the Key of Life: An All-Star Grammy Salute To Stevie Wonder’ (featuring Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Ariana Grande)

Stevie Wonder remains the most-awarded male solo artist in Grammy history.  As such, it only seems fitting for that very academy to continue to honor his legendary achievements.

With countless hits and over 100 million albums sold, the music royal has laid a blueprint for every musician to follow,  a number of whom who were in attendance and/or on the performance roster to salute his efforts.

With performances from Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, Pharrell, Jennifer Hudson, Janelle Monae, Ariana Grande, and many more, the tribute – titled ‘Songs In the Key of Life:  An All Star Grammy Tribute’ – aired tonight on CBS at 9 p.m EST. Did you miss any of it?
