British boyband JLS have confirmed that the first single to be lifted from their as-yet-untitled sophomore LP is titled ‘The Club Is Alive’.
Set for release on July 4th, the song’s accompanying video will be shot in the US, where the four-piece are currently recording new material.

While it’s a given that JLS’ music and artistry hardly rock my world, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little glad to see such a group succeeding (take from that what you will) - even if they are kinda rubbish LOL. Saying that, surely a little more downtime to work on their craft, before the release of a new album, wouldn’t go amiss. They clearly need it.
Still, I guess with the group catering to the ficklest of audiences, actually being any good doesn’t really matter. In any case, it’ll be interesting to see what they serve up this go round.
