New Song: Kanye West – ‘Bittersweet’

This new Kanye West track ‘Bittersweet’ has me anticipating his upcoming ‘Graduation’ album even more. The melodic mid-tempo is a collaboration between Kanye and Pop Rock artist John Mayer. I’m really liking the laidback vibe the song has to it and having John Mayer on the hook works surprisingly well. It’s not the first time Kanye has stepped out of the box with his feature artists – Maroon 5’s Adam Levine joined Kanye on their 2005 hit ‘Heard Em Say’. ‘Bittersweet’ is taken from Kanye’s third album ‘Graduation’ which hits stores August 21st.

New Rihanna Single – ‘Umbrella’ (ft. Jay Z) + Album News

Rihanna has premiered her new single, ‘Umbrella’, from her upcoming new album. The track, which features Jay-Z, is good, but nothing special. No doubt it will be a hit, though, as her label insist on shoving her down our throats. When Jay started rapping I got the impression the song was gonna be hot and then her annoyingly nasal singing kicked in. Def Jam are not wasting anytime; the album name has been revealed as ‘ Good Girl, Gone Bad’ (hmmm) and will drop June 6th.

Ne-Yo Album Update; Pushed Back & Title Change

According to SOHH.com, singer/song-writer Ne-Yo has pushed back the release of his second album. The CD will now drop on May 1st, a week after it was originally supposed to hit the shelves. Also the title of the set has changed; formerly titled ‘Know Me’, the CD has now been re-named after the first single ‘Because of You’. Both Jennifer Hudson and Jay Z appear on the album.

Ray J Offered 4-Pic Porno Deal

Brandy’s useless little brother, Ray J, has reportedly been offered a four-video deal by the adult entertaninment company that are distributing his x-rated sex tape with Kim Kardashian. The deal wouldn’t mean that Whitney’s new play thing has to star in the films; instead he would direct them. The ‘One Wish’ singer is apparently considering the offer.
