As 2012 sees the Superbowl at its inaugural Indianapolis-hosting, it boasts another first as well – the inclusion of powerhouse vocalist Kelly Clarkson and Queen of Pop Madonna. While Madge is manning the highly anticipated halftime show, the ‘Breakaway’ beauty got the game kicked off moments ago with a stirring rendition of the U.S. National Anthem.

The 2-time Grammy winner is currently rocking at #2 on singles chart with her smash ‘Stronger’, but did she rock the ‘Star Spangled Banner’?

Hot Shots: VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul: Arrivals & Show

The VH1 Divas franchise roared back in spectacular fashion last night, after many a year on the wane.

Following a number of mis-guised editions, this year’s show helped restore the true meaning of ‘diva’ with its “celebrates Soul” theme. And with sassy vocalists such as Mary J. Blige, Jessie J, Kelly Clarkson, and an increasingly slim-line Jennifer Hudson taking to the stage, the show is set to be every bit a must-see when it airs tonight on VH1 at 9pm ET.

LIVE Stream IHeartRadio Music Festival (Night 1)

Looks like Rock In Rio isn’t the only mega-fest having fans glued. With a bill that features such top acts as Lady Gaga, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez and more, it’s no surprise that the event (which sold out in 10 minutes) is the talk of the weekend.

‘Idol’ Income: Forbes Reveals Show’s Top Earners

Though ‘American Idol’ has been a ratings winner since its debut in the early 2000s, some of the show’s alums have been ‘winning’ in other ways. As the show is gearing up to look for its next Idol, Forbes magazine has reported ‘The Top-Earning American Idols’. You may be surprised at some of the entries.

New Music: Kelly Clarkson – ‘Let Me Down’

Original American Idol and Grammy Award winner, singer Kelly Clarkson is gearing up for the release of her fifth studio album. The as-yet-untitled project is set for an October release date. A few months back, a snippet of previously unheard ‘Let Me Down’ surfaced on the internet. Today, a full version of the track is available. Is this the first sign of new material from the ‘Because of You’ singer?

Rolling Stone Introduces ‘The New Queen of Pop’

In an article that is sure to spark many a debate, Rolling Stone magazine has compiled a list to crown the ‘new Queen of Pop’. In a tabulation solely compiled of 21st century divas including P!nk, Britney Spears, and Beyonce, the publication only considered female singers active in the late 2000′s and factored-in everything from Youtube video hits to record sales and tours.
