Khia Arrested For Repossession Evasion

Rapstress Khia may brag about her skills over 16 bars, but now the ‘My Neck, My Back’ performer has found herself back behind another set of bars. For, as has been making its rounds around the blog-0-sphere, the Philly native was arrested for “concealing/endangering property-secured interest” (aka evading repossession of a good).

While the unnamed good is believed to be an automobile, the jokes pretty much write themselves here. Whatever it was, it’s pretty safe to say the ‘Snatch the Cat Back’ rapper got something snatched this weekend. Unfortunately, it was not that wig.

It seems that Khia has finally decided to take a break from insulting Nicki Minaj so that she could get back to work. The rapper was spotted on the set of her new music video for ‘Been A Bad Girl’, which is being directed by Clifton Bell. Khia’s Reality TV Show Trailer

After a relatively quiet 2009, comedienne rapper Khia has unveiled the trailer for her new reality series ‘Anger Management’, which she’s attempting to shop around to a number of TV stations. With it being a minute since her tomfoolery has received any attention, I almost forgot how much of a boiling hot mess she is (of course, I mean that in the nicest way possible). I mean honestly this looks like it was filmed on a mobile phone and edited on Windows Movie Maker.

Though her self-belief is somewhat admirable, it is that much more hilarious. If ever there was a case of talking the talk, but not being able to walk the walk, this would be it. Ms. Khia would be much less of an embarrassment if she was a struggling artist who actually churned out good material, instead of a one-hit wonder trying to cling on to her one taste of (for the lack of a better word) fame. Sigh…

In any case, I’ll leave you with one of Khia’s most hilarious outings, her stint on VH1′s ‘Miss Rap Supreme’ from last year….LOL

Janet Superbowl Fine Dropped

Believe it or not, there were still financial repercussions lingering for Janet Jackson’s now infamous ‘Nipplegate’ moment at the Superbowl four years ago. However, it has been announced that the last of the barrage if fines leveled against the networked which aired it, CBS, has been dropped:

PHILADELPHIA – A federal appeals court has thrown out a $550,000 fine against CBS Corp. for the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show that ended with Janet Jackson’s breast-baring “wardrobe malfunction.”
The three-judge panel in Philadelphia ruled Monday that the Federal Communications Commission “acted arbitrarily and capriciously” in issuing the fine for the fleeting image of nudity.

The 90 million people watching the Super Bowl, many of them children, heard Justin Timberlake sing, “Gonna have you naked by the end of this song,” as he reached for Jackson’s bustier. {Source}

About time already. All parties seemed to have moved on anyway, so the fine really was pointless IMO.

Not content with taking digs at Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri on previous occasions, rapper Khia has blasted the pair in her latest MySpace blog (warning: explicit language):

Nowwwwwwww…… Jermaine Dupri…… I hear you was on Hot 97 in New York… Talking bout how I was ungrateful…………. And Miss Jones was FIRED right after dat!!!!!! If I’m ungrateful about anything its about the fact of how I SAVED the day for JANET….. And I couldn’t even be in the VIDEO…..But dats old news so why are we even still talking about it????? Janet’s album Flopped and DATS dat!!!!! I’m sorry……. Janet…..I hear you been going thru the CHANGE…. So maybe dats why you were MOODY and didn’t want me in the VIDEO dat day!!!! Khia: "Janet Will Never Be Mariah"

For some reason unbeknown to me, Khia is still running her mouth about the Janet Jackson ‘So Excited’ fiasco (I call it that, only because she’s making it into one). According to the self-appointed ‘Thug Misses’, “Janet’s career will never recover” for how she ‘done her’, adding that “she’ll never be Mariah”.

Yes, the song should have been the first single. It wasn’t, so she needs to get over it. She’s only making herself look more pathetic with every rant she makes. SMH…
