Ever since Leona Lewis‘ sophomore set ‘Echo’ failed to set the charts blaze back in 09, the songbird’s career has worn a ‘fragile’ sticker.
From poorly charting singles, to a dwindling presence in the States, to the incessant delay in delivering her “comeback” LP ‘Glassheart’, it’s been a rocky few years for the vocalist.
And yet it seems the turbulence is far from over; for it has today been revealed that ”Heart’ won’t be hitting stores for another 11 months.

Nearing the end of last year, ‘Better In Time‘ songbird Leona Lewis broke the news that her long awaited album ‘Glassheart’ was to be released in 2012 and not in November 2011 as had initially been scheduled.
So now, with not long to go until the project hits stores, record executive Clive Davis has shared a number of details regarding his contributions to the LP and aired out his feelings towards her second album, ‘Echo‘.

‘Bleeding Love’ belter Leona Lewis wasn’t exactly showing much love to chart rivals in a recent interview with ‘Time Out Dubai’. The 26-year-old, whose most recent ‘Collide‘-lead LP ‘GlassHeart’ was pushed back to a March release, lent her opinion on the current status of the music industry’s vocalists to the worldly magazine, even suggesting reality talent show contestants best their established counterparts.
While many-a-talent show, including ‘American Idol’, ‘The Voice’, and Lewis’ own native ‘X Factor’ have boasted immeasurable talents in their years, is Leona’s assessment far-fetched?

Arriving just days after her breath taking set at the Royal Variety Performance, the shot comes almost a week after she performed a rendition of the song ‘Hurt‘ on the X Factor 2011 Final.
The 2011 Royal Variety Performance played host last night to quite the odd pairing – in Leona Lewis and Cee-Lo Green.
An unlikely duo, the two served up a stirring rendition of ‘Somebody to Love’, with Lewis soaring solo with ‘Hurt’ and Cee-Lo performing ‘Anyway’.

Predictably understated and indicative of the performer’s growth since her days as a contestant on the series, her performance arrives months before the release of her ‘Glassheart‘ studio album.
In a bid to generate a buzz for her upcoming ‘Glassheart‘ LP, ‘Bleeding Love’ belle Leona Lewis has released a cover of 9 Inch Nails classic number ‘Hurt’, lifted off her new EP of the same name.

As studio albums go, Leona Lewis boasts a talent which should see her selling records by the bucketload ala fellow Brit Adele. However, as her sophomore set and serially delayed 3rd album have shown, things haven’t quite played out as such for the LA-based Londoner.
Indeed, following the so-so performance of her latest single ‘Collide’ this Summer, her 3rd opus ‘Glassheart’ was bumped to next year, much to the chargin of her fans.
However, a ray of light has emerged in the form of a new EP which Lewis is lining up for release much sooner than you may think.

Seems Jojo isn’t the only young songstress causing a commotion with her covers. Bruno Mars‘ ‘Grenade’ also got the cover treatment from British bred songbird Leona Lewis, who lent her talents to the 2011 Doha Tribeca Film Festival.
Acting as the fest’s closing act, the ‘Better In Time’ belter took a shot at some of recent pop history most celebrated numbers – covering everything from the Mars hit and One Republic‘s ‘Apologize’ to Seal‘s classic hit ‘Kiss From a Rose’. This, of course, was accompanied by the X Factor alum treating fans to her own hits ‘Bleeding Love’ and ‘Collide’.
