Set for release on her new label, Island Records/Universal, the as-yet-untitled LP has been touted as boasting a more soulful sound.

Songbird Leona Lewis is renown for pairing her powerful pipes with a much more demure demeanour off-stage. However, it appears the ‘Bleeding Love’ belter is a lot freer with her words since parting ways with longtime label Syco Music recently.

Songbird Nests At New Label

In a move few saw coming, Leona Lewis has waved goodbye to Sony’s Syco Music – her label home since winning The X Factor in 2007.

More than just an internal shift, the songbird has departed the Sony Music umbrella altogether and taken flight to rival label Universal, where she has inked a lucrative deal with Island Records.
