Seems the near courtroom collision pop singer Leona Lewis avoided over her new single ‘Collide’ hasn’t halted the songbird from pushing forward with its release. No sooner than the news spreads about the singer’s settling of the dispute does the cover for the single appear.
Fans can expect its forthcoming release, the lead from Lewis’s latest LP, to digital and radio outlets very soon.

A length of hair or lack-thereof aren’t the only headlines the Londoner has been making as of late. ‘Collide’, her new single, has resulted her label being taken to court for plagiarism. Worse still, a video shot has been shot; yet, in light of the on-going legal drama, and slow radio play, prospects aren’t great. Perhaps, back to the drawing board? As previously reported, R&B diva Brandy is just one on a growing list of singers set to mentor on the upcoming reality talent show ‘Majors & Minors’. Now, reports have surfaced that list will include chart-toppers Leona Lewis, Sean Kingston, and Avril Lavigne. The announcement joins previous reports that indicated pop singers Adam Lambert and Colbie Caillat were already tapped to advise on the new talent show.
The show’s concept is based on ‘Majors’ (established acts) acting as mentors for ‘Minors’ (contestants aged 8-16) on their quest for musical stardom. The brainchild of songwriter Evan Bogart (who boasts Beyonce‘s ‘Halo’ and Rihanna‘s ‘SOS’ to his credits), the show is set to debut September 23, 2011.

Leona Lewis may have come to a road block on her comeback trail. The ‘Bleeding Love’ singer recently took to Twitter to respond to claims that her new song ‘Collide’ stole a piano riff from producer/DJ Avicii‘s (Tim Bergling) song “Penguin”. While Lewis’ song producer has claimed the song did credit the Swedish DJ, the ‘Better In Time’ songstress kept her silence until yesterday.

Taking a break from recording her third studio album, songbird Leona Lewis stopped by BBC Radio 1′s Live Lounge. As well as announcing that the broadcaster’s annual Big Weekender extravaganza will take place next year from her home town of Hackney, she also performed a brief live set.
Putting a unique reggae spin on her hit ‘Better In Time’, the talented star dashed Rihanna‘s latest single ‘Man Down’ into the fray, with fantastic results.
