With a career spanning almost twenty years, and credited for writing every song she has ever released in that period, you could be forgiven for thinking Lil Kim was simply swimming in cash by now.
Well she’s not.
Because, for the last ten years- the ‘How Many Licks‘ Rapper has not been paying her taxes and now owes a seven figure sum to the US Government.

Back in January, Rap icon Lil Kim found herself in hot water when her fans accused her of breaking a number of promises made to them with regards to new music.
Now, in response to the star’s refusal to explain the delay of this material and her failure to respond to their complaints via Twitter, her fans have threatened to close her official fan site.

Whether her fans admit it or not, it has become increasingly difficult to support Lil Kim.
For, much to the dismay of these fans, her long awaited ’2012′ EP is still yet to surface, one month after it was scheduled for release.
This, following criticism she faced last month for allegedly putting ‘men before music’, once it emerged she had put her career on hold to support long time friend Floyd Mayweather through his stint in jail.

Yesterday afternoon, an email sent by Lil Kim‘s publicist to a number of publications claimed the Rapper was readying a statement which would “destroy Nicki Minaj’s career and credibility forever”.
Today, following the backlash that email received here, her assistant has denied Kim is readying such a statement, citing Minaj’s label as the real masterminds behind its existence.

The last few years must have been tough for Lil Kim.
