Lil Kim Announces That She’s Begun Work On Comeback Album

For the longest time, the notion of a new Lil Kim album seemed more like a myth than rooted in reality.

12 years have passed since the female Rap pioneer unleashed ‘The Naked Truth,’ which many hail a classic.

Subsequent years brought promises of new music, but save for a slew of so-so received mixtapes, the ferocious femcee has been notable in her silence.

Well, it appears that will be changing imminently.

Because, in a series of new Instagram posts, the star revealed she is working on her fifth studio effort in Los Angeles.

Cheered on by the capacity crowd, the ‘Whoa’ femcee soaked up the love and even bust a few moves too.

There’s a lot that can be said, but we’ll leave at…we wish her the best.

Twitter is still alight with roasting Rich Homie Quan after his less-than-stellar rendition of Notorious B.I.G.’s verse from Junior M.A.F.I.A.’s ‘Get Money’ with Lil’ Kim at VH1’s ‘Hip Hop Honors’ (see the performances here).

Originally some thought he was opting out of the song’s more provocative lyrics for the sake of TV, but further review proved homeboy just flubbed majorly.  After a serious backlash ensued (and is still ongoing), RHQ took to Instagram to offer an apology and his take on what happened.

Hot Shots: Lil Kim Glows In Paris After Axing Essence Festival Performance

Lil Kim left fans reeling in New Orleans over the weekend when she cancelled her performance at the 2016 Essence Music Festival at the last minute.

The excuse provided?

According to a rep, the rapper could not take to the stage with Puff Daddy and the Bad Boy family as planned due to “unfulfilled business obligations.”

Folk scratched their heads as to what that was supposed to mean. Yet, now, it seems the answer may have manifested.

The pint-sized femcee was snapped looking all sorts of glam at the Ralph & Russo fashion show today in Paris. Only 24 hours after the axed performance.

As well as posing it up with the designers, she also pow-wowed with supermodel Jourdan Dunn.
