Career woes aside, little can be done to take away from Lil Kim‘s abilities as a live act, packing a charisma the years have failed to weather.
Alas, despite garnering generally positive reviews for the showing, it’s the Rapper’s look that has some raising a confused eyebrow today- as snaps emerge from her sold out ‘Musicalize‘ performed in the UK.
Snaps, that tick more unflattering boxes than any qualified stylist, make-up artist or plastic surgeon should have allowed.

The Queen Bee is building quite the buzz for her forthcoming her mixtape ‘Hard Core 2K13′, due November 29th.
Already sending fans into a frenzy with the Halloween-released “Dead Gal Walking”, Kim is looking to keep that buzz afloat with a visual for the tune ‘Looks Like Money’. First making the its way to the net over the summer, the song was greeted with so much fanfare that the Grammy winning rapstress has finally accompanied its release with a full music video.
Was it worth the wait? You tell us below:

Lil Kim may be a year shy of 40, however the rap icon combats the industry’s unfair age bias by playing up her sexy instead of toning it down.
The defiant diva dominates in this newly released snap, which believed to be from an upcoming magazine spread.
Back on the scene, the pint-sized femcee seemingly appears the most serious she’s been about her own comeback in years, recently releasing well-received ‘Dead Gal Walking’.
A lot that has been and will continue to be said about Kim (much of which is due to her own doing), however as a rap royal whose success narrative serves as the blueprint for the femcees of today, it would be great to see her have at least one more “moment” – be that a single, album…something! For the time being, we’ll hit replay on ‘The Naked Truth’.
UPDATE: The rapper just unwrapped another snap on Twitter:

New music alert!
Proving just how enjoyable her music can be when well written, well produced and mixed correctly, Lil Kim unleashes a brand new cut named ‘Dead Gal Walking’ today, pulled from her forthcoming ‘Hard Core 2k13′ EP!
Bidding adieu to the mess that was her ‘Black Friday’ EP to serve a sound that’ll no doubt silence a number of her naysayers, ‘Walking’ sees Kim tackle the sensitive subject matter of crime, and its ‘inevitable’ nature for those living in inner cities.
Is it any good?
Yes! Yes, it is!

‘Tuck yourself in, you better hold onto your teddy…it’s ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ and guess who’s playing Freddy!’
In the event you haven’t noticed, let us be the ones to tell you that is today is Halloween!
You already knew? Well, that gives you one thing in common with Pop chart topper Miley Cyrus who decided to impersonate one of Rap’s more influential icons in its honour. An icon, who goes by the name of Lil Kim.
Indeed, while Nicki Minaj’s arrival and subsequent winning streak has no doubt proved to be a living nightmare for the ‘Crush On You’ belle, that hasn’t stopped her ‘better years’ being celebrated by the controversial Cyrus, who paid homage to her infamous appearance at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards.
How it turned out?

Oh Lil Kim.
An icon she may be, but her career of late tells an altogether different story.
Remember the saying “fool me once, you’re a fool. Fool me twice, I’m a fool”? Well, clearly Kimberly doesn’t. For, after pushing back her ‘Hard Core 2K13′ mixtape from its promised Halloween release today, the femcee is once again gearing up to associate with two dreaded words…Black Friday.
