Before hitting our screens on ‘American Idol‘ January 16th, Christmas Day saw Nicki Minaj arrive at NYC’s Webster Hall for a festive appearance at the venue- which welcomed 2,500 guests on the night.
However, while the highlight of the night may have been the Rapper’s interaction with the fans that arrived, it was her arrival with a certain Irv Gotti that may leave many an eye brow raised today.
For, despite being cited as one her long time mentors, the one time exec is also cited as a catalyst behind Drake‘s alleged plans to part ways with Lil Wayne‘s Young Money, to which both he and Minaj are signed to.

Though it isn’t as publicized as it should be, ‘Practice‘ Rapper Drake is one of the US’ Top 5 mega sellers- holding more commercial value than acts afforded more press coverage than him.
So, it came as a surprise to many when reports emerged suggesting a rift between he and his Young Money bosses, Lil Wayne and Birdman, over capital owed but not paid to him- prompting rumors that he was to leave the Hip Hop music group.

With a cool 1 million copies sold worldwide, Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ is- as far as her fans are concerned- one of the year’s strongest releases.
However, by way of ‘niche’ cuts like ‘Beez In The Trap’, the project has undoubtedly failed to the grip to the casual listener in the way her debut, ‘Pink Friday’, did back in 2010.
Now, the Rapper hopes to right this wrong with the release of ‘The Re-Up’ this Monday, packing 8 new numbers in addition to the original numbers on ‘Reloaded’. 8 new numbers, that include the brand spanking new number ‘High School’, featuring Lil Wayne.
