Get all the way into ‘Tap Out‘, the latest number from YMCMB mastermind Birdman featuring Lil Wayne and Rap Queen Nicki Minaj.

Though not as strong as its predecessor, ‘Y.U Mad’, it does feature solid lyrics from all of its contributors and ‘Make Me Proud‘ esque vocals from Minaj, who closes the cut with a verse that left us looking forward to her forthcoming material.

The thing about it is- that while the production on the reworked version is a certified A+, verses from from Waka and Wayne are without a doubt a little embarrassing, sullying what would have otherwise been a great remix.

Dubbed the ‘urban remix’, the Hitboy-produced venture is said to feature hip hop heavy hitters Lil’ Wayne, Diddy, and Waka Flocka.  And, while we anxiously await what the sixsome have cooked up, Spears took to Twitter today to announce when fans will get their first glance at the revamped visual of ‘Scream’…

Featuring a different backing to its original version, its gritty sound will come as a welcome surprise for fans of ‘The Hook Up’ singer, who have been calling for her to embrace a more urban sound since 2007′s ‘Blackout‘.

However, thanks to weak verses from Wacka and Wayne, we doubt the cut will fare well for these fans on a critical tip.
