Tonight saw the highly anticipated second half of ABC’s 2-part interview with pop queen Madonna. Crafting a nearly three decade long career off capturing public attention (for controversy as much as catchy hits), it’s safe to say the 53-year-old hitmaker is using the buzz drummed up for her stinging comments on Lady Gaga to segue into an intro for ‘MDNA’ – her forthcoming album.

Already making headlines for enlisting Sri Lankan singer/rapper M.I.A. and ‘Moment 4 Life’ rapstress Nicki Minaj for the album’s lead single ‘Give Me All Your Love’, ABC was given an chance to attend a private recording session involving the former and Madge. The visual is a very intimately set showing as the two work to craft what Madonna is indeed hoping will be her next monster hit.

Hot Shot: Nicki Minaj & MIA Tribute Madonna In New Video

There isn’t long to go till Madonna‘s ‘Gimme All Your Luvin’ video featuring Nicki Minaj and MIA makes it television debut.

So, in a bid to whet the appetites of their respective fan bases, today saw the surfacing of a snap taken from the video’s shoot which gives some indication of what the world can expect from the hotly anticipated clip.

Paying respect to the icon’s ever changing look, the pair can be seen rocking two distinctive looks from the performer’s career, with Nicki donning a blonde Madonna styled wig and MIA in a look similar to the one sported by Ciccone in her ‘Like A Virgin’ set, now almost thirty years back.

The trio are set to perform the track live at the Superbowl in little over a month. We want to know, though…

M.I.A. Slams Lady GaGa: “She sounds more like me than I f—ing do!”

M.I.A. has put Lady GaGa on blast. The Oscar-nominated rapper, best known for her 2008 hit ‘Paper Planes’, claims that the Pop phenom is nothing more than a “good mimic” who “models herself on Grace Jones and Madonna“. Check out what she had to say below:

Rihanna Performs Covers

As previously reported, ‘IT girl of the moment’ Rihanna headlined MTV Italia’s Mobile Bang show a few weeks back. During her set the 2o year old performed a string of covers of hits by the likes of Beenie Man, MIA and Lauryn Hill. Check out the medley of ‘Who Am I / Paper Planes/ Doowop (That Thing)’ below:

Call me a hater or whatever else you choose, but there is no denying that was the pits. She sounded like Billy Goat Gruff with all that bleating. Horrible.

Randomness: It would be great to hear a little of ‘pre-industry cleansing’ Rihanna (aka Caribbean flavoured sound) on her new music – even if just a little. Just a thought…
