That Grape Juice favorite Michelle Williams shined bright on last night’s 2013 SESAC Pop Music Awards red carpet.
Alongside hip hop hitmaker Swizz Beatz, the ‘Do You Know’ diva was on hand to celebrate the achievements of her ‘Hello Heartbreak’ collaborator Rico Love – who won took home both ‘Songwriter of the Year’ and ‘Song of the Year’ honors while Beatz, PJ Morton, and many more served as the night’s entertainment.
See snaps of the trio, Melanie Fiona, and more below:
The ‘Do You Know’ singer was snapped rocking the red carpet at the premiere of Lifetime movie ‘Call Me Crazy’ in Los Angeles last night. Set to air this evening, the film stars Oscar and Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson.
Busy in her own right, Williams is hard at work on her new Gospel CD (due this Summer) and is presently touring with musical FELA – which we’re giving two lucky fans the chance to see. Click here to enter our ticket give-away contest.
As reported here, Jennifer Hudson and Christina Aguilera were two of the stars tapped to honor Queen of Disco Donna Summer at this year’s annual ‘Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’ induction ceremony.
Taking place last night at Los Angeles’ famed Nokia Theatre, Hudson was joined by gal pals Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, Oprah Winfrey, and Usher (amongst others) to pay homage to honorees like Summer, Quincy Jones and more.
While the show is not set for TV airing until May 19th, cop a gander at some pics from the night via our sisters at She Is Diva:

That Grape Juice joined Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams in welcoming the release of ‘Side Effects Of You’, the latest album from ‘Without Me’ singer Fantasia.
Arriving at LA’s London Bridge Studios to enjoy all the album had to offer before it drops on April 23rd, the R&B darlings enjoyed the company of producer Harmony Samuel, as they listened to the release…which we are happy to say is her best yet.
As earlier reported, Kelly Rowland is re-teaming with fellow Destiny Child divas Beyonce and Michelle Williams on new album ‘Talk A Good Game’.
Little had been disclosed about the track beyond its existence, however the ‘Motivation’ singer has opened up to our friends about the song, which now has a confirmed title of ‘You Changed’. The soulful number was produced by Harmony Samuels and penned by Courtney Harrell.
Watch as Ms. Kelly dishes on the hotly anticipated cut (which is interestingly being billed as “ft. Beyonce & Michelle Williams and not “Destiny’s Child”)…
Destiny’s Child diva Michelle Williams may be garnering praise for her role in FELA – The Musical, but the star continues to work diligently on her upcoming Gospel album.
Talking to That Grape Juice recently, the 32-year-old revealed that the set (due this Summer) will boast an inspirational, yet edgy sound (sonically christening the genre “Ratchet Gospel”). Now, in an exciting new development, Fantasia has revealed that she will feature on the hotly anticipated set.
Ever keen to broaden our musical scope, recent months have seen That Grape Juice venture into a number of new musical landscapes including, most recently, gospel.
Spearheaded by well-received interviews with gospel singers Joshua Rogers, Dorinda Clark Cole, Israel Houghton, and more, TGJ is now offering readers ‘The Overflow’ – a collection of the top gospel-themed news stories from the week.
