Reported to have scored placements on Beyonce’s 5th studio album, the year may also see him hit the road with ‘Girl On Fire’ singer Alicia Keys.

The above could be used to explain Miguel’s rise to fame this year, hailed as the poster child for Contemporary R&B following a long and tiresome journey to the top.
Releasing his second studio album ‘Kaleidosope Dream’ on September 25th of this year, last night saw him take to ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ to perform one of its standout cuts ‘Do You’, days after the LP hit combined US sales of 170,000 units.

As previously reported, November 8th saw the taping of the 2012 Soul Train Awards.
Jam packed with performers from today’s best and brightest R&B performers, the Las Vegas hosted event saw its stage graced by the likes of Ne-Yo, Miguel, John Legend, Keyshia Cole, Fantasia, and more.
While viewers won’t get to see the action until it airs on BET & Centric later this month, That Grape Juice extends the invite to see some of the fashion hits and misses via the red carpet below:

After wowing audiences worldwide with his sensual brand of R&B, Miguel now finds himself lending his skills to another sonic trendsetter this month. A trendsetter, who goes by the name of...Beyonce.
Sharing this snap of them together during a studio session for her fifth album, he marks the latest act the singer has enlisted to help craft the project, following studio sessions with ‘Climax’ writer Elijah Blake, last month.

She’s one of the biggest R&B singers of all-time, he’s one of the genre’s biggest breakout stars, so it’s only fitting that Beyonce and Miguel hit the studio together.
Miguel, who has received ample acclaim for his sophomore set ‘Kaleidoscope Dream’, shared the shot of he and Bey on Twitter, saying…
We know for a fact that Bey has been clocking up A LOT of studio time as of late with a host of different writers and producers. And having had ‘Adorn’ on constant replay for much of this year, we couldn’t be more ecstatic that Miguel is included in that All-Star line-up.
Beyonce’s 5th studio album is earmarked for an early 2013 release and will be supported by the epic platform that is the Super Bowl Half-Time stage. For, as reported, the Destiny’s Child graduate has been tapped as next year’s headliner.

Adele has crashed Billboard’s digital charts this week with ‘Skyfall’ – the theme to the forthcoming James Bond film of the same name. Besting sales of last week’s best sellers Rihanna and Ke$ha, Adele’s storm of charts is bested only by country princess Taylor Swift whose third single boasted 312k in first week sales.
