This week’s classic From The Vault clip is Mya, Blackstreet and Mase’s 1998 contribution to The Rugrats Movie, ‘Take Me There’. An awesome meshing of the Urban and younger Pop/junior audience, the song still goes hard now. Enjoy.
R&B singer Mya attended the Rock Media Fashion Week this weekend. The dancer posed for this pics at Eden Roc Renaissance Resort on Miami Beach, Florida. Check out more pics below:

Music’s biggest night is finally here! Numerous celebrities are arriving for the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Check out all of the action below:
This week’s From The Vault clip is Mya‘s 2003 smash ‘My Love Is Like…Wo’. As well as the Missy Elliott produced (Kenny and Charley penned) track being a winner, the video showcased the R&B star in a new light. Not only was the once clean-cut Mya sexier and sassier, the Paul Hunter directed clip highlighted how a great an all-round dancer Ms. Harrison actually is (she’s a trained dancer); the tap breakdown still looks as good today as it did 7 years ago, as is the song and the whole the damn video LOL. Enjoy.
The stars came out full-force a few hours ago for industry legend Clive Davis‘ annual Pre-Grammy Awards party. Held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, the event’s theme was ‘A Salute To Icons’ honouring Universal CEO Doug Smith.
Notable attendees included Rihanna, Usher, Ciara, Ne-Yo, Mary J. Blige, Jay-Z, Toni Braxton, Fergie, Keri Hilson Mya, and more. {Clive’s protégé Whitney Houston, who was snubbed by the Grammy committee this year, was notably absent}

The 3rd Annual BET Honors were filmed last evening at the Warner Theatre in Washington D.C. The event commemorated the achievements of diva Whitney Houston, Hip-Hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, and rapper/actress Queen Latifah. Guests were treated to performances by Jennifer Hudson, who sang Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ in tribute to the icon, Mary J. Blige, Maxwell and others. Singer/dancer Mya placed second on season 9 of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ last evening. The performer and her partner Dmitry, who had the highest scores from the judges throughout the season, lost the title to Donny Osmond. In addition, Kelly Osbourne placed third at the finale of the event which featured performances from Whitney Houston.
Why am I not surprised? Although Mya practically owned the dance floor every time she stepped out, the voters on this show have always displayed incredibly poor taste with their selection of the seasons’ winners. First Toni Braxton got voted off early, then Lil Kim and now Mya. Anyone else noticing a trend? I am utterly disgusted by this news and unless someone of the caliber of Janet Jackson or Beyonce enters the show next year, I definitely won’t be watching.
