Megastar Mariah Carey attended the screening of ‘Precious: Based On The Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire‘ during the AFI Fest 2009 last evening at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California. Pop out your dictionary, look up the word ‘DIVA’ and this is who you’ll see!

I almost forgot that her husband Nick Cannon was at the event as well. Mariah is looking so good that she has me confused lol!

It appears the folk over at Bad Boy finally decided to hook Day26 up with a much needed new single in the form of ‘Since You’ve Been Gone’, the video for which premiered recently. Luckily for the guys, the song is strong enough to carry this, otherwise, run-of-the-mill clip. The Dawn (from Danity Kane) cameo was a nice touch, though. With the track being one of the strongest cuts from their self titled debut, here’s hoping it fares better than first single ‘Got Me Going’ which peaked at #79 on the Billboard Hot 100.

With the release of Nelly’s ‘Brass Knuckles’ fast approaching, a new cut from the set has surfaced. ‘Stepped On My J’s’, which features Jermaine Dupri and R&B star Ciara, sees the St. Louis native re-embrace the gritty, yet radio friendly sound that made his debut so great. I must say, I’m really liking this one. ‘Brass Knuckles’ hits stores June 24th.
