For all of four years, the Pussycat Dolls dominated the Pop music landscape. Yet, with alarming swiftness, the ladies went their separate aways in 2010 amidst rumors of in-fighting and favouritism.
Fast forward to today, and like most disbanded groups, each member has gone on to experience varying levels of success in their solo ventures – the most notable being lead singer Nicole Scherzinger.
However, with the X Factor UK judge still trying to find her footing as a solo artist, it’s surprising (or perhaps not) that talk of a PCD reunion has surfaced – courtesy of former member Carmit Bachar (not pictured above).
During a recent interview with Maximo TV, the fiery redhead – who left the group prior to the release of sophomore album ‘Doll Domination’ – revealed that discussions are underway for a number of reunion themed projects.

Shocking as it may be to believe, Nicole Scherzinger has yet to release a solo album on home soil. Still.
Indeed, as many will recall, 2007′s ‘Her Name Is Nicole’ never arrived, while 2011′s ‘Killer Love’ was a Europe-only effort. With the latter having enjoyed chart success in territories such as the UK and France, it appears a sound foundation has been set for a global roll-out for its follow-up.
The former Pussycat Doll was snapped continuing work on the set, her third, with producer Kareem James. Canadian-bred, but US-based, James has crafted material for the likes of Drake and Alexandra Burke.
Reliable word tells That Grape Juice the flavour of the Scherzinger sessions was Urban-Pop – which, quite literally, sounds like (the right) music to our ears. The über Pop direction of her past efforts always baffled us given her Urban skew. In any case, here’s hoping the 35-year-old is cooking up the material US listeners are willing to embrace this go round.

Another year, another judging line-up for Simon Cowell’s X Faxtor UK.
On this occasion, though, we’re all for the latest batch of bottoms who’ll sit at the famed judges table.
Pop diva Nicole Scherzinger leads this year’s panel, which features a returning Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh. TV maven Sharon Osbourne makes a sensational comeback to the show leaving in 2007. The Osbourne matriarch replaces an axed Tulisa, who is having a few issues of her own at the moment. Sniff sniff.
The quad begun shooting the audition phase of the show, which is in its tenth season, today. Look out for The X Factor UK when it returns to screens later this Summer.
Randomness: After a wildly successful run on the show last year, we hope Nicole manages to leverage the exposure against her musical endeavours. The way each year seems to be a case of musical chairs, it’s best that she “get’s it while it hot”.

The US may be a little unsure of her positioning, but the UK just can’t get enough of the Pop force that is Nicole Scherzinger.
Launching her debut album ‘Killer Love‘ in the market in 2011, this year will see her continue work on her sophomore release spearheaded by the single ‘Boomerang‘. A single, that has secured the singer her sixth Top 20 single and her fourth Top 5 in the competitive market.
