Readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.

So, as our retrospective features ‘From the Vault’ and ‘TGJ Replay’  allow us the chance to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday of one artist, our newest feature Chart Rewind – a variation of our current Retro Rewind assay – accedes salutes to an entire era of music history.

This week we get to press play on ‘Get the Party Started,’ the lead single from P!nk‘s sophomore effort ‘Missundazstood.’  Launched fall of 2001, the tune – composed by Linda Perry (also famous for Christina Aguilera‘s ‘Beautiful’ & songs by Adele, Miley Cyrus, etc.) – quickly grooved its way up to the top 10 and can be found at #4 on the Hot 100 this week in 2002 (where it peaked).

Remaining a fan favorite of the rebellious rhythmic rocker, tuck in below to traipse down memory lane and see who joined P!nk in the top 25 this week 15 years ago:

The latter being a core focus of the campaign given Trump’s sexually charged and degrading comments about women.

Chart Check [Hot 100]: P!nk Soars Into Top 10 With ‘Fire’

Rihanna’s ‘Needed Me’ Reaches Hot 100 Peak

rihanna thatgrapejuice p!nk billboard hot 100

Fans hoping there would be a three-peat of Bajan beauty Rihanna‘s name in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 were sorely disappointed when the singer’s megahit, ‘Work,’ was worked right out of the upper dectet by P!nk and her latest hit ‘Just Like Fire’ (found on Disney’s ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’) soundtrack.

Coming as the trapeze-loving singer’s first swing into the top 10 since 2013 (15th overall), ‘Fire’ blazes her name into 4th place in Hot 100 history books (among women).

#Navy needn’t worry, however.  With the reappearance of Calvin Harris‘s ‘This Is What You Came For’ and a new #8 peak of ‘Needed Me,’ the latest lifted from ‘Anti,’ Rih is still pulling double duty in the upper rankings of the singles chart.

Could she be well on her way to nabbing her 15th #1?  Time will tell.  Until then, tuck in below to see where she and the rest of today’s movers and shakers landed on the refreshed Hot 100 via TGJ’s weekly ‘Chart Check’:
