Check out these shots of ‘Styled To Rock‘ star Rihanna showcasing her goodies while on vacation recently.
Sharing the snaps via her personal Instagram page, the hit collecting nocalist can be seen flaunting a number of her tattoos hours before she turned 25 (today), and weeks before the launch of her ‘Diamonds World Tour’.
While there is no denying Ms. Fenty’s stunner status, her record sales remain subject of ample debate. Put simply, she simply is not selling what the “power in her name” demands that she should or could be. Indeed, four months after the release of her latest LP ‘Unapologetic’, the ‘Diamonds’ led set has shifted 679,500 copies in the US. “Decent” given the current sales climate, yet shocking when considering that many of her chart rivals sell this in the first week (see: Lady GaGa, Beyonce, Adele).
Clearly, it’ll take more than fierce magazine covers and flaunting a relationship that is ‘Nobody’s Business’ to upgrade her from a singles artist to one who shifts albums. Slowly but surely, ay?
They’re the apple’s of LA Reid’s eyes, however- despite their similarities- there came a time when things turned all the way sour between ‘Diamonds’ belle Rihanna and her Grammy winning R&B sister, Ciara.
Of course, while the pair seemed to have patched things up now, their very public confrontation stands as one of the surprising events to come from today’s Pop class, now available to relive below…

When it comes to mostRihanna performances, you should always expect three P’s: “p-patting (or popping)”, “pitch problems”, and “pain” (see: ears of viewers). No further evidence of such is needed than the stagewalker’s 2011 NBA ‘All Star Game’ Halftime show. Indeed, hoping to best (or at least match) the great NBA All-Star halftime shows of idol Beyonce (2004), Destiny’s Child (2005), Christina Aguilera (2007), and Toni Braxton before her, the Barbadian came armed with a slew of hits from her critically ashamed album ‘Loud’.
With mentors Jay Z and Beyonce amongst onlookers in the crowd, Ri turned to favorite collaborators Drake and Kanye West to join her in belting out ‘What’s My Name’, ‘Only Girl In the World’, and more much to fan delight. If such delight was shared by non-Navy members, on the other hand, is a different story. For, after a promising opening, the performance quickly went downhill – leaving the hitmaker to showcase her consistent inconsistency with breathlessness and Tinman-inspired dance moves.
We at TGJ are certainly proud to say she has comes leagues from this performance and truly wish her continuance on her path to betterment. And, while we anxiously await Alicia Keys’ NBA All-Star game performance today, here’s hoping this showing was not one she studied to ensure her performance goes in the history books – for the right reasons.
Peep these snaps of ‘Stay’ star Rihanna, stepping out with Rita Ora‘s pal Cara Delivingne in London last night.
Arriving at ‘The Box‘, Rihanna and Cara were joined by the former’s best friend Mellisa Forde, hours after she hit the runway for her new fashion venture with River Island and days after the aforementioned ‘Stay’hit #1 on US iTunes.
