It looks like Beyonce is getting ready to take everybody back to the dance floor. In a recent interview with Music Mix producer/songwriter Sean Garrett revealed that the dynamic diva is in fact working on making more of the “party music” that defines most of her biggest hits. Garrett previously worked with Beyonce to make ‘Get Me Bodied’, ‘Diva’ and ‘Upgrade U’. Check out what he had to say below:

The first single from Ludacris’ forthcoming album ‘Theatre of The Mind’, ‘What Them Girls Like’, surfaced a few hours ago. Produced by Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins, the cut also features both Chris Brown and Sean Garrett. Though the chorus is a lil repepitive, I must say I’m overly liking the production on this one (it’s a club banger, no doubt). Luda may just have a hit on his hands with this one.

Renown songwriter Sean Garrett (Destiny’s Child, Usher, Ciara etc) is set to release his debut album ‘Turbo 919′ this summer. The video for the LP’s first single ‘Grippin’ On This Bed’, featuring Ludacris, made its debut yesterday. While the song’s infectious hook has made me like it all the more, the video is kinda ‘blah’ IMO. It’ll be interesting to see if Sean’s record garners more attention than the producer/songwriters -turned artists before him.

‘Smash on the radio bet I penned it!’. Indeed, the bold claim made by singer/songwriter Sean Garrett holds pretty much true. Having written hits for the likes of Destiny’s Child (solo efforts too), Mary J, Chris Brown, Britney Spears and a host of others, Garrett is now making the transition to an artist in his own right.
Prior to now, producer/songwriter Sean Garrett has been renown for the hits he’s crafted for the likes of Destiny’s Child (‘Lose My Breath’) , Usher (‘Yeah’) and Nelly (‘Grillz’). However now, the Atlanta native is set to launch his own label Bet I Penned It Music via Interscope, with his currently untitled album serving as the label’s first release. Interscope CEO Jimmy Iovine says of Garrett “Sean Garrett is one of the greatest songwriters to come along in the last 10 years, Interscope will always jump to work with someone like him.” {Source}
