T.I. has finally released the 1st single from his highly-anticipated upcoming album, ‘King Uncaged’. ‘Got Your Back’, which features Keri Hilson, was produced by DJ Toomp (Mariah Carey’s ‘I’ll Be Loving U Long Time’). ‘King Uncaged’ hits stores on August 17th. Give the song a listen below:
Hip-Hop heavyweight T.I. is preparing to shock his fans with a surprise collaboration. The rapper has worked with Lady GaGa on a RedOne-produced track, ‘Lick It’, which will be featured on his upcoming album, ‘King Uncaged‘. The LP, which hits stores on August 17th, also features contributions from The-Dream, Trey Songz and Keri Hilson. Moreover, T.I. is hoping to create a club tune with Eminem for the project. T.I.’s as yet untitled 7th studio album is set to hit stores on August 24th via Grand Hustle / Atlantic Records.
R&B crooner Usher has supposedly been hard at work on his forthcoming album ‘Raymond vs. Raymond’. One of the tracks emerging from his studio sessions is ‘In My Bag‘ which features none other than T.I. Usher’s new album has been postponed indefinitely, with most speculating that it will be released some time in 2010.
This is a nice song but nothing to become overly excited about. Usher serves up his usual swag but I must admit that T.I. really stole the show with his verse on this one; the track might as well have been his with Usher only chiming in on the chorus. Either way, it’s a good album track but I doubt it will prove single worthy.
Just got through watching T.I’s VH1 Behind The Music episode, which you can check out above. A great watch. I’m so glad they brought this show back.
