Hear Mari do her thang on ‘U Did That’ after the jump:
Earlier today, footage of R&B upstart Teairra Mari recording her upcoming album surfaced online, setting the promotional campaign for the project in full motion.
Set to hit stores in coming months, the project’s success- if we’re really going to be honest- could reward Mari with the stardom and notoriety some say she was robbed of back in 2005. Or see her follow in the steps of many an R&B belle before her and face a perpetual struggle to convince the world that she is worth paying attention to.
So, as open supporters of Teairra and her cause, we here at TGJ HQ are curios:
Do you intend on buying her album when it comes out and if not- why not?
R&B/Hip-Hop hitmaker Rico Love was definitely feeling the love from fellow hitmakers Usher, Mary J. Blige, Diddy, Melanie Fiona, and more at his recent birthday celebration. The Grammy-winning producer, who has lent his signature ‘Turn The Lights On’- introduced beats to many-a-hit over the past two years, turned 29 last night (December 2) at Italian bistro Vic & Angelo’s before pressing on to the after-party at Club Play.
