Let’s be honest.
While his public persona may be a little one dimensional (R&B Sex Machine 101), Trey Songz rarely disappoints when it boils down to what really matters, the music.
It’s for this reason that we can’t but look forward to the release of his new music video ‘Fumble‘. However, we’ll have to be patient. For, before its release on Monday, fans will just have to make do with a teaser released in its aid.

Fans of ‘Dive In’ divo Trey Songz know he’s currently making a splash at box offices worldwide on his ‘Chapter V’ world tour (featuring Miguel & Elle Varner).
As recent pit stops have seen him on our side of the pond, Songz was spotted this week with the U.K.’s Tim Westwood to dish on the tour, his latest album, venture into movies, and more.
Never one to hold back, when quizzed on his buried beef with R&B king R. Kelly, the ‘Panty Droppa’ dropped info on the real reason he was ‘frustrated’ with Kellz – citing the ‘Bump N’ Grind’ crooner’s use of autotune among reasons for his frustration.

For Brandy, it was ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer‘ and for Usher it was ‘The Faculty’. Now, R&B King Trey Songz is the latest staple from the genre to take on the world of horror, as the star of new flick ‘Texas Chainsaw 3D’.
Playing Ryan, the ‘Neighbours Know My Name’ singer sat down with the guys over at ‘Clevver’ with co- star Alexandra Daddario to push the movie, which hit theatres January 4th.
Though awkward at times, the interview did make for interesting viewing- showcasing a cooler and less contrived side to the singer’s personality.
However, in what may leave some questioning his business acumen, he made a branding ‘no no’ when revealed that ‘SAW 1′- and not the original ‘Chainsaw’ – was his favorite horror movie.

Say what you will about his personality, but there’s no denying Trey Songz’ contributions to R&B’s current revival.
Sure, while numbers boasted by Usher‘s ‘Confessions’ may make Songz’ feats look like child’s play, this year saw the sex symbol surpass all expectations when his ‘Chapter V’ debuted at #1 with 135,000 units. A figure, unfortunately unattainable by most (if not all) of his direct competition.
Shifting those numbers without the benefit of what some might call a ‘Pop smash’, he has now weighed in on those of his contemporaries he feels have strayed from the genre, only to enjoy lack luster sales once they do.
