New Video: J. Cole ft. Trey Songz – ‘Can’t Get Enough’

Two of TGJ’s favorite ‘singers’ have joined rising rap star J. Cole for fun in the sun on the set of ‘Can’t Get Enough’ - latest visual from his debut album ‘Cole World: The Sideline Story’. Enlisting permanently pouted lip pop star Trey Songz, the video was shot in Barbados where hometown hitmaker Rihanna was also spotted making a cameo (but thankfully did not lend her noise voice to the track).

J. Cole aptly is quoted as saying:

“It’s like ‘Big Pimpin” minus the million-dollar budget”.

Sneak Peek: J.Cole – ‘Can’t Get Enough (Ft Trey Songz)’

With the release date of his debut album drawing closer and closer, it would seem that Roc Nation Prince J.Cole is pulling out all the stops to ensure he enjoys the chart successes of Lil Wayne and Jay Z before him.

For he has enlisted the help of ‘Bottom’ performer Trey Songz for the single ‘Can’t Get Enough‘ whose video Cole describes as ‘Big Pimpin‘ without the million dollar budget’.

Trey Songz Eyes Drake For Collabo LP?

Even though it was recently confirmed that Drake and Lil’ Wayne are indeed preparing a joint LP after their solo projects, R&B heartthrob Trey Songz has also revealed an interest in recording a duet album with his former ‘Successful’ co-star.

Trey Songz On ‘Chapter 5′: ‘You can expect the best me you’ve ever heard’

Famed R&B vocal less vocalist Trey Songz spoke with The Source about his forthcoming fifth studio release ‘Chapter 5′ , citing the work as ‘the best me you’ve ever heard’. The album, which will act as the follow-up to Songz’ 4th album ‘Passion, Pain, & Pleasure’, is said to be nearing completion.

The ‘Say Aah’ singer also had this to say (via The Source):

“… it’s my sixth year in the game so I’ve been here for a while now. You can expect the best me you’ve ever heard. I don’t have any release dates in mind right now but I’m just making music and enjoying myself in the studio and having fun. When I get to a place where I feel comfortable saying a date or all of that, people will definitely know. I have a few dream collaborations on that album that I want, but they say if you blow out your candle and make a wish you can’t tell people what you ask for or it won’t come true.”

Here’s to wishing Trey is right and Chapter 5 is the part of the story where we really do get the ‘best him we’ve ever heard’.

Watch: Trey Songz’ Speaks On His Next ‘Big Hit’

As reported here, ‘Say Aah’ singer Trey Songz guested on Fox Business Channel’s America’s Nightly Scoreboard sharing news about his recent naming as the face of Rocawear’s new fragrance ‘Evolution’.
