Fiery Femcee Sets Off Festivities With Fresh Music

It may be Trina‘s birthday, but it’s she who’s doing the gift-giving.

The rapper used her 38th anniversary to unwrap a brand new EP named ‘Dynasty 6.’

Though not the star’s long-awaited new full length album, it does appear to be a companion project of sorts. It arrives six years after her last LP ‘Amazin.’

With 7 signifying perfection, does ‘Dynasty’s’ seven tracks hit the bullseye?

Rapstress Trina has been spitting heat for over fifteen years and shows no signs of slowing.

‘F*ck Boy’ is her latest offering and the lead release from her literally titled sixth album ‘6’ (due in 2016).

Tis the season of giving and the femcee gifted her fans the official video for the track (which samples Eazy E’s ‘Boyz N Tha Hood’).

Since the success of her breakout hit ‘Fancy,’ the lens has truly been on Iggy Azalea.

Despite launching a host of hits from her debut album ‘The New Classic,’ rap’s new girl on the block has not exactly received the warmest of welcomes from the genre’s current tenants.  In just one year she’s broken Lil Kim‘s record for longest run at #1 on the Hot 100 and even bested nemesis Nicki Minaj by receiving an American Music Award win and Grammy nod during her first official era.

Be that as it may, Azalea’s wins are consistently questioned (as is her credibility).  While some have been led some to label her this generation’s Vanilla Ice, the Aussie rapstress seems to take the scrutiny in stride.  In a recent interview with Billboard, read below how she addresses the “haters,” has love for her female rap foremothers, and more:
