Often sharing warm thoughts when quizzed on the former as he gains ground on his U.S. presidential campaign, the latter – on the other hand – can’t boast receiving the same from the Atlantan beauty. Recently dropping by ‘Access Hollywood,’ Leakes weighed in on rumors that she was in talks to have her own talk show, but was blocked by Wendy.

The talk-show maven features a-front of the May issue of Ebony magazine and looks all sorts of lush.

Within her  feature, the 50-year-old former shock-jock reinforces her lack of love for the traditional trappings of Hollywood, yet also adds:

“Sometimes I feel a little guilty, like there is going to come a time when all of this isn’t going on and I’m going to regret not lunching at Michael’s with the celebrity girls. But right now, this feels great.”

As recently reported, Williams – who celebrated the 1000th episode of the ‘Wendy Williams Show’ last year – was recently nominated for two Daytime Emmy Awards. The show, which is now in its seventh season, routinely outperforms the likes of ‘Ellen’ and ‘The View.’

Final Numbers: Lifetime’s Aaliyah Biopic Pulls In Over 3 Million Viewers / Becomes 2nd Most Watched TV Movie of the Year



As if the Lifetime-lent Aaliyah biopic that aired Saturday night didn’t ruffle enough feathers by itself, producer Wendy Williams’ response to the backlash didn’t exactly help.

Taking to her top-rated talk show this morning to scoff at naysayers who slammed the film’s casting and overall production, Williams was quoted saying:

“Everybody’s got an opinion.  Whether you loved or hated it, you watched [because] it was the second highest rated movie on all of cable this year so far.”
