R&B Divas Atlanta‘ may be one of the latest series to join the ‘TV One’ family, but it would seem it’s already on course to outperform and overshadow the shows that paved the way for its star studded arrival!

Details on its ratings win below!

Starring Destiny’s Child star LaTavia Roberson and ‘Black DiamondAngie Stone, the ‘R&B Divas’ follow-up saw its season three premiere become its networks highest-rated show among its core audience, doing so with 338,000 viewer impressions, no doubt generated by Roberson’s well-publicised arrival on the series.

On its success, ‘One’s SVP Programming and Production, D’Angela Proctor, shared:

“The R&B Divas franchise has become a staple for TV One’s viewers who look forward to the weekly glimpse inside the personal and professional lives of these six talented ladies. The addition of our newest cast members Meelah and LaTavia has breathed a new life into the series that we anticipate will keep viewers glued to their screens all season long.”

one word: MEELAH!!!!!!! i’ve enjoyed 702 too much to not love this girls voice everytime she sings.
and as for latavia, she better show the world why she once stood next to beyonce, we need to hear her solo voice now.

I’m gonna give it a chance, just because there’s a DC member in it. Hope they don’t disappoint.

So far the Diva with the most diversified storyline is Monifah. Also she is the most level headed when it comes to her on air persona. I say this cause I don’t know her personally. You take her seriously and her journey. I’m super glad Nicci Gilbert is GONE. She was an insult to the women and the public. My wife is plus a curvy plus size woman and was offended by her “fat ass” comment to Angie Stone. There is No chance of patroning her clothing. She was an outrage. Syleena is funny and a gifted vocalist. Keke is gifted too BUT hard to watch with her meddlesome, psychotic episodes and disrespect towards her husband, Monifah Trez and the others. The ratings are a good look but Insont think it’s because of the newbies they haven’t proven anything yet but glad Nicci is gone. Miss “barely there” Faith one of my fav singers. Latasha was cool but didn’t offer anything really. Angie is on the wrong show. She’s misplaced and too old and old acting. If she left oh well.
