For, the daytime talker has officially been renewed for a second season.

Anchored by Tamera Mowry, Tamar Braxton, Jeannie Mai, Adrienne Bailon, and Loni Love, the freshman series had anticipated a sophomore run after signing its hosts to two-year-deals. However, with nothing a guarantee in Hollywood, its return hinged largely on its performance – which, Deadline reports, has been on the up of late:
The formal pickup comes as The Real just set a new series high of 1.54 million average viewers and equaled a series-high household rating (1.2) during the most recent week of available national ratings (week of January 26-February 1). The Real ranks as the No. 1 new syndicated talk show of the 2014-15 television season among women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.
What’s more, the show’s renewal was helped by its impeccable web presence…
Additionally, The Real has done very well online and on social media. For the 2014-15 season, The Real YouTube page has delivered more than 65 million video views, ranking No. 3 among all syndicated talk shows for the year, behind only The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Wendy Williams Show.
Kudos to all involved. Having watched the show since its tester season in 2013 and its formal arrival last year, it’s great to see the strides it has taken. Beyond upping the ante with its guest list (which has included Nicki Minaj), the hosts gel well and have found a a formula and chemistry that ultimately works.

I’m so happy to hear this. This has become my favorite TV show.
You and me both I can’t wait to see each of the hosts new milestones coming up e.g Tamera’s baby girl, Aderienne getting married and the others growing in their sistership. They make me smile literally every day which is so rare nowadays.
This is my show! I work during the week but on Saturdays I wake up and watch all the shows from the week lol
I’m glad it got officially renewed they deserve it. The chemistry they have is much better than The View which has been terrible this year. I like that this show is certainly younger and not as news-y as the others although I do like when they cover current topics and wish they did so more because the “Shade, No Shade” news segment is hilarious and funny. I am happy for them hopefully they make it to a third season and more because that’s when they will really hit their stride and be winning more people over. That said I do think Loni and Tamar can come off as bullies to Tamera and Jeannie at times which is no bueno.
I don’t agree with the bully comment but i do agree with everything else you said I think sometimes when you have strong opinions and are forceful with it i.e Tamar and Loni it can seem intimidating to others especially when the others communicate more meekly. However you can see that they respect each other in real life and it’s not just for the cheque they genuinely like each others company and that makes me enjoy the show all the more. But Most if not all the time Tamera is spitting some wisdom lol.
Yeah I can see that I just don’t like how loni and tamar always bring up Jeannie liking black men when her husband is white it comes off disrespectful to them both and forces her to have to constantly defend her live marriage and love for Freddy. As for tamar I don’t like how when Jeannie is being 100% real, they say “ooohhh girl that’s too much.” Or don’t be real themselves 100%. As for tamera she gets bullied more so for coming off naive or inexperienced. Which I find endearing and unique- love her!
Yeah I feel you, it seems like they poke at each other a little bit and can be very shady.
But all in all, I don’t think it comes from a hateful place. But I’m sure they will clean it up a little for the new season because I have witnessed them grow a lot this season and it can only get better. p.s Remember two years ago they were all strangers to each other so as they spend more time their communication will be better.
