It seems ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ is on its way to delivering its grandest season thus far.
Its mother network, Bravo, is so impressed by the direction of storylines that is yet to pull the plug on its taping…despite being weeks away from airing its three-part reunion special.
Exclusive news (and spoilers) below…
In an interview with TGJ’s Sam, show runner Carlos King revealed that the show’s leading lady NeNe Leakes could be expected to appear in its ninth season despite abandoning her role as a ‘Wife’ following its seventh.
Reportedly eager to avoid being usurped by on/off rival Kenya Moore, Leakes’ return isn’t the only surprising move made during the show’s current cycle.
For, after its production is said to have kicked off in the summer of 2015 King claims that its cast members are still being filmed almost a year later.
‘Atlanta’ stands tall as Bravo’s highest-rated ‘Housewives’ series and recently welcomed the actress Kim Fields to its cast and will be represented by cast mate Porsha Williams on NBC’s ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ in which she will star in alongside Tyra Banks.
The series’ latest cycle is yet to receive a premiere date.
