Michael B. Jordan‘s role in ‘Creed’ continues to sweep up positive reviews and pave a positive path for his forthcoming roles.
How he celebrating his success? By rocking the cover of ‘The Hollywood Reporter‘ for its ‘Stylists and Stars‘ issue alongside his fashion forward friend Jeff K. Kim after he learned ‘Creed’ had picked up $173. 4 million.

Jordan had this to say about the role’s physically demanding side:
I definitely had my moments of breaking down, my body breaking down, my mind breaking down. Hitting walls, you know. But I was surrounded by the best trainers, some of the greatest boxing minds. They helped me through the process. They helped me grow, they helped me get better. They pushed me through the hard spots, just to get into fighting shape.
What he feel it did for the representation of African-American men in film:
When I was growing up, I didn’t have many characters on screen that looked like me. So, being able to identify with somebody, seeing them in that light, is very important. We made a movie that hopefully everyone can relate to, with themes of family. And love. And dream-chasing.
